I am listening to this and am realizing the song itself is a battle. You have the harsh electric sounds of Yaldabaoth battling the guitar of the Phantoms. They hold different sounds through the whole song and in Our Beginning we see that the Phantoms have won because it is only the Phantom's part. The music in this game never ceases to amaze me.

10/10 When I heard this, I just missed Rivers in the Desert. But then I realized how perfect the song really is. This song is a battle between not just Yaldaboath and the Phantom Thieves, it’s a battle between the harsh electric sounds of Yaldaboath and the Electric Guitar sounds of The Phantom Theives. They contradict each other for the whole song before it all comes to an end. In addition, the chorus “if you could call it that” uses the velvet room theme in REVERSE. This song truly could not have been better for the fight that ends this crazy journey.

While I understand the iTunes version of the OST lists the title of this song with a J, this is simply incorrect. It should be titled "Yaldabaoth." The final boss' name starts with a Y, not a J. He refers to himself as such and if you check in the Thieves Den from Persona 5 Royal, its music player titles this song as "Yaldabaoth", not the incorrect iTunes version with a J.

This seems to also be the case for several other songs in the OST. For example, "The Days When My Mother Was There" is not actually called that; the real name of that song is "When Mother Was There" according to the Thieves Den. Another example, "Freedom and Security" is actually called "Freedom and Peace". Either (A) the iTunes version randomly got the names wrong (somehow), (B) it was a mistranslation (quite possible), or (C) Atlus, or whoever is in charge of it, changed the names of certain songs with the release of Royal (also possible).

My setup for this fight was: Joker: I mainly used "Raphael" who had Sword Dance, Charge, and Heat Riser. I gave him an ability that halved the cost of physical skills. Ryuji: Charge + God Hand + Matarukaja = Lots of damage. Ann: Concentrate + Agidyne/Blazing Hell + Matarukaja = Lots of Damage. Makoto: She has Mediarahan and Marakukaja.

My Ryuji basically did the same thing. Everyone else was different. I had Satan for Joker. Not Satanael but just regular Satan which made Joker a beast at defense. Ryuji I just spammed God’s Hand. Morgana constantly used Maguradyne or whatever it’s called. And Makoto constantly used Mafreidyne and sometimes atomic flare. It worked out for me at least

on my first playthrough towards the end of it i had completely run out of sp restoring items and none of my party members had any sp left. yaldabaoth was on decently low health and i had to spam healing items and physical attacks which lasted like 30 minutes. i honestly don't regret not going back to get more sp items since it made the fight so much more intense and i loved it

I was just over leveled after level grinding the reaper for like 3 hours. You gotta go to Mementos when it’s flu season because then the reaper will have despair which when he dies, you’ll get a massive amount of exp. So, I was at like level 95 when I went in to fight Yaldabaoth. That’s really the best tip I can give you
