YES the "Squeeze Cocker" is BACK and it is made right here in the USA. Check out P7pro website and order yours today (I did). The P7Pro offers the exact same pistol that HK users have worshiped the last 4 decades AND they have brought it up to date with features such as a picatinny rail, red dot mount, threaded barrel, and more! They also give you a LIFETIME WARRANTY. What more could you ask for?

I just wish P7Pro's P7s didn't cost almost as much as real HK P7s. If they were around 1500 or less I'd be more comfortable carrying one.

Definitely NOT advisable to carry this pistol for personal defense. It's extremely expensive and if, God forbid, you're involved in a self-defense incident, I guarantee you will be forced to surrender it to law enforcement. Later -- much later, they may return it to you, but then they may choose not to. Carry instead something easy and less costly to replace.

If there's a market for these, there is definitely a market for reproduction Lugers & Broomhandles, contrary to what many people say

I just bought an M8 from them and asked about the M13. They are planning to release it the last quarter of the year! Might need another by then.

Thank you for this video. It's interesting to learn that the PSP / P7M8 is back. But this pistol has an achille's heel: the squeeze cocking mechanism is quite complex and it depends on a few small springs for its working. When used regularly, these springs break once or twice a year, which makes the pistol useless. Having a stock of these springs help to shorten the "interruption of service" but it is still there.

@@marie-noellebaechler1433 This is the first time I've heard of such breakdowns, people shoot tens of thousands of rounds from the P7, and I've never heard of such a malfunction, this is one of the most reliable pistols.

Still a unicorn pistol. A NICE unicorn pistol that fits most of the bills, aside from co$t, of what a concealed carry pistol ought to be. I'll have to do without this one.

Here's the problem... HKPro is not any cheaper than a used P7. They start at $2500 and that is with an Aluminum frame. A steel frame is $100 more, Titanium is $600 more. Check a couple of option boxes on the slide and it quickly eclipses $3000. Right now though there is no option to configure an M13 either. There is no frame capacity option in the configurator and the illustration shows an M8.

The Bavarian State Police have the HK P7 M8 as sidearm from 1979 -2017. Then the Police Authority couldn‘t get any spare parts for repair and changed to HK SFP 9 TR. The P7 is a quality pistol of its own, so every remake have to meet that quality. The price tag of that Texan Pistol isn‘t cheap, but good quality have a expensiv price tag. It will become interesting, to see other calibers like .40S&W (P7 M10) 357 SiG or .45 ACP or .38 Super.

The owner is a materials engineer as well as an H&K armorer. He knows his metal. The slides they make are to micron level tolerances. Their chemical and heat treatment processes far exceed anything H&K ever did. (I'm retired from 40yrs in engineering as a mechanical designer. We nerded out for a minute.)

@fjordweit6170 I just received my P7 from P7pro. I ordered one of the remaining German frames for nostalgia sake. The new parts as well as the frame were all nitride treated together. Great finish. I can't wait ti go to the range. It isn't a "plastic fantastic", it's metal. I'm happy with the $2400 price. Comes with a lifetime warranty.

Have P7m8 -- LOVED IT ! - carried it on duty and off for 4 yrs. Didn't have holsters duty / off duty for it, had to have them custom made. Chief thought it was a toy till He shot it, was impressed with it, but chocked when heard price. HK came out with "m13" version later, just didn't have the money to get one. Then Dept went to issued firearms (Glocks) - that was a few decades ago.

My old H&K P7M8 had bad bluing on the slide, so it turned purple. This is pretty common as H&K must have had an issue with their bluing salts.

You’re not going to find machining work on a CNC produced firearm. All you get for that kind of money is simply a Ti frame. All the rest comes off your donor gun.
