The host of the show was saying, "Ranjith you made Rajini speak your politics in your movie but I don't know whether Rajini understood that politics or not" and he laughed.. Ranjith did not answer that or explain but he also laughed. Whether Rajini knew or doesn't knew, he gave Ranjith an extraordinary platform and took him to global level by giving 2 back to back movies.. Rajini praised Ranjith for his political ideas and his work. But this fellow was cheap enough to laugh at Rajini now..

I have seen Rajini's journey both as an actor and in TN politics. Even today the political party leaders will struggle to meet other state CM or governors but Rajini can do it over a phone call. I know the history behind, but this Ranjith despite getting benefitted by Rajini is now mocking him on a public stage. And he thinks that's his pride. After that incident in next 2 days in another local event he was saying "our smile is creating a big impact these days, so we are becoming powerful".. He thinks his ideologies are bigger than Rajini's.
