Tatenhill is a great little airfield, I've had a few lessons there a few times and I've flown 6 different aircraft too, just wish I could get my PPL. I now live in North Wales near Caernarfon Airport now 😀

The way you construct your videos is ACE!!! man. I've learnt a huge amount watching you Ben especially radio comms etc. Have you flown to EGBD Derby Airfield? I'm a student pilot there at the moment currently working towards my PPL! Would be cool to see a video of yours to EGBD. Also what apps do you use for the weather? I noticed you use Skydemon for nav. All the best with your future and keep the videos coming :D

Love the a’yup welcome translation at Huddersfield! The POH for the warrior-161 I fly says two stages of flap for short field take offs.

Really like your videos. I'm a keen flight simmer who hasn't quite made the switch to the real thing. Keep it up, and if you're ever flying to Blackbushe and fancy a cuppa, let me know.

Good landing! You kept 70 knots bang on during the approach. Very impressed. I'm currently working on this so any tips would be great :) Cheers!

I thought short field take off in a PA28 was 2 stages of flap...?
@PlaneOldBen6 жыл бұрын
It is, but the take off wasn’t performance limiting therefore chose one stage!

@Ben - Not sure if you realised that you've uploaded at 360p, instead of your usual 1080p HD Glory :)
@PlaneOldBen6 жыл бұрын
Try refresh, it’s only just come out and takes a short period before being 1080p

My bad, obviously far too keen! Excellent video, I particularly love Huddersfield International - whoever works there has a very good sense of humour with the signage.
