Korg, when we switch from one harmony type to another the mic and harmony buttons/faders mute themselves and then need to be unmuted, with every switch to another harmony type. How annoying! Please fix that in the upcoming OS update

greetings, I'm wondering if it is possible to activate the vocalist on the left hand by pressing one finger on the chord so that you don't need to press the whole chord but only with one finger to activate the vocalist? and if possible how?

Oh what a bummer, no harmony by selected fixed scale in vocal processor. This feature was super useful. A lot of times you don't want vocal harmony to follow the left hand.

Why aren't effects able to be applied to quarter inch inputs?

Yes, thats why there are two separate inputs and two dedicated signal paths.

Autopitch: I don't see any way to mute the live MIC input on the Pa5X and just play the pitch-corrected Harmonies (or the Doubler) as are available in the Pa4X. Can this be fixed in SW at some future time? This is a HIGHLY desirable feature!!!!!

Pa5x has a lot bigest banal mistake. Icant understand why and how are not repaired,so, that they did not edit before releasing it to the public.After 2 mounts i have hard work to preparing arranger fir the gig but harmoniser and vocal effect is realy bad old IH is much more bether harmoniser it is not to used in stage.

I’ve owned a Korg pa4x for years, use it at my gigs. It looks like Korg took away the ec5 foot switch option???? I sure hope not! I use the ec5 to control the drums and fills in real time at ALL my gigs! Is there another option for control of stops, start, fills, a b c d sections with a foot switch of any kind? Man, I sure hope so, or I can’t buy this amazing new PA5!

Korg removed the EC5 pedal board from the 5x. I want to assign a foot switch for vocal harmony off/on. I am using assign 1 on the back of the keyboard to no avail. What kind of foot switch/pedal do I need to do this? As a live on-stage player I find the loss of the EC5 a remarkably bad downgrade for a keyboard at this price range. I used to be able to control break/fills and harmony on/off with the EC5. Now I have to hand punch all these in....sooooo annoying and time-consuming for live play.

Wszystko ładnie a w rzeczywistości nie działa tak jak powinien. Nie wiem czy wina oprogramowania czy wadliwy mój instrument. Autopitch bezużyteczne jeśli manualnie nie wprowadzisz w jakiej tonacji jest utwór bo nie czyta key signature z pliku midi tylko domyślnie stroi do C-dur. Nigdy tego nie używałem bo to jest bezużyteczna funkcja w chwili obecnej jeśli przy każdym utworze manualnie trzeba ustawić tonacje utworu. Tak samo Harmonizer - Settings/Mic Processor jest ustawione na kanał 5 i mimo ze zmienisz na inny kanał to i tak harmonizuje do piątego kanału. Musisz manualnie wejść w każdy efekt i zmienić song play control z 5 na inny kanał wtedy działa. Według mnie to powinno się zmieniać automatycznie po zmianie kanału w settings/midi/mic processor. Kolejny problem - settings/mic setup/EQ Dynamics/Reset - po zrobieniu resetu to u mnie nie działa AutoPitch i harmonizer wokalny. po naciśnięciu autipitch odcina całkowicie sygnał od mikrofonu a po wyłączeniu autopitch mikrofon działa ale harmonizer nie działa. Jak ustawie parametry tak jak na obrazku w instrukcji obsługi i zrestartuje instrument to wtedy działa - wina oprogramowania czy wadliwy instrument?

You are not serious for 5000€ is vocal harmoniser totaly brockeb crap,i play G7 and sing Dm.Old pa1x helicon work prfect,chords but this supersonic instrument totaly disapoint ok if you make properly opdate and repair mistake.But for this money need to be perfect instrument. Garmony editor has two track EQ but do nor work.This portamento and vibrato is complete useles.This demonstrator know abslutely nothing about pa5x.Only playing few songs but kern is totaly failed,so has nothing to show escept how can he playing piano.It can playing on each piano or children toy keys,but it is suoerteach instrument.How to using velocity as a controler, asihnable switch, ribon controler,,harmoniser and guitar effect.Absolutely nothing.Each toturial is in therms of contents complete emptiness,,totaly mistake. And you wNt to selling Korg Instruments without competente high clas demonstrator and instrument expert.It is constructive critic.After atleast 5 korg instruments arranger i3,i30,pa1x and last pa5x it is most poorest instrument.And i was to have dw 8000,poly800,o1w,triton etc… KORG ! repair it and make complete instrument ok,if you no idea i have a lot wery good idea. Human only limited only with ideas !
