I just took delivery of my 2019 Tri Glide 2 days ago and I love it . It took me awhile to let go of my heavily optioned 2017 Streetglide Special , but I thought it would get much more use with my wife riding with me , and my balance and strength at 77 isn’t what it used to be . Glad I did it .

Bought a 19 Tri-Glide in August and absolutely love it . My wife never rode with me anymore after a close call 35 years ago. She now wants to go everywhere with the trike. After getting use to it I can take corners very fast and in the straights it is no different than riding my Street Glide Special. I've had 6 Harley's and numerous other bikes in 51 years of riding and this trike is the most comfortable I've ever riden. 67 and still out in the breeze!

Good review... Wife & I updated our trikes last year mostly because of heat problems, however the performance is much better too. We had '10 & '11 Triglides & upped to '18 Anniversary Triglides. The heat is still there but way cooler. Wife put ez-steer on hers making it feel like powersteering. Very happy with these trikes, we lost some of the dance over many yrs. on 2wheelers,but still in the wind. They are a blast to ride.
@PABeardedBiker5 жыл бұрын
Bud Irwin that’s all that counts man. Having your knees in breeze is what it’s all about no matter what you’re on. I’m glad you liked the video and I’m happy you both like your new rides. I would like to try the steering assist mechanism. That would really help on that bike. Thanks for watching. Be safe. PABB

BB The ez-steer we bought thru champion motortrikes. Triple trees are raked out & tubes dropped down 2". Makes the front end look better too. It's very responsive so at first it took some getting used to. She can go around bends easily with no effort. Being '18 models the air shocks suck. Put pro gas shocks on mine so now it will squat a little powering thru bends. The '19s have gas shocks so they probably ride much better. Riding into mid/late 60's smiling

I heard the full-dresser trikes don't let the engine heat out of the cockpit area very well and its gets excessively hot, especially on the legs. You didn't mention this, but I was wondering if you felt any heat build during the test ride?
@PABeardedBiker5 жыл бұрын
PaiN's RIdes I didn’t notice any excessive heat. I was probably riding it for 30 to 45 minutes. I have noticed heat issues on some other brands of bikes but not this one. Thanks for watching and great question. 👍
@budirwin98255 жыл бұрын
The watercooled m8 is way cooler than older models. I updated for that reason & happy I did. Our older trikes were hot, when pulling in I'd get off quick. When stuck in traffic it was miserable.

Do you adjust your rear shocks when riding two up with the Mrs? It makes a huge difference. Friends would always pick on me for adjusting my rear shocks all of the time. I could make the suspension feel the same from solo to two up riding.

@@PABeardedBiker as I'm in my 59th yr. I am looking into triking. So I can still take the Mrs. along with confidence. Before I take the high dollar plunge . Dion Moore I hear ya. They have their advantages and disadvantages. My advice would be to go to a dealer and test ride one with you and your wife on it. Also try out the CanAm Spyder. A guy I work with has the full dresser version of the Spyder and loves it. That would be another option. 👍

My Wife and I really enjoy our 2014 HD Tri-Glide. You probably noticed, riding on the interstate, the sensation was basically the same as riding a two wheeled motorcycle. Only going through the curves, one needs to muscle the handlebars a bit, similar to a ATV. Thanks for sharing. Safe Travels.

Triketacular well said. It did feel like a two wheeler except through the curves. I found that a short turn at low speeds weren’t bad but like you said you do have to muscle it a little sometimes.
