Love all 5 of them. It’s amazing that they each have solos, and each one is awesome. But PABLO, my God he is a once in a generation artist. When you can’t pick a favorite song you know it’s a good album.

Truely Pablo is not the Alpha and leader of SB 19 for nothing. Aside from his leadership skills and humility he is the musical genius behind the hit songs of SB 19 group songs. He is the main rapper, lead vocalist, songwriter, producer, composer and arranger of almost all of their group songs. A total package/performer.

From "Alon" (wave), my favourite is "Kumunoy" (quicksand). My first listen to that some months ago made me feel the song for WEEKS. With Pablo's creativity, us Filipinos sometimes have to dig and dust off our Filipino (Tagalog) dictionary and thesaurus whenever he uses 'deep' words. Furthermore, he like to do wordplays and concept plays so we have to be on our toes to search for MULTIPLE meanings and connected concepts and imageries.

The entire ALON album is a masterpiece. Drowning in the Water is the best. Kumunoy, Presyon and The Boy Who Cried Wolf are next. Please watch out for his 2nd album LAON on September 20. The first album are melancholy songs. WALA is nothing.

I am just so proud of Pablo…This Alon album is a masterpiece. Truly epic…He really has a way to touch our hearts and souls with his songs. His song writing skills is out of this world. He is just so gifted and talented. And his voice…wow just wow! He showed his vocal prowess in this album. We are blessed to have a John Paulo Nase in our lifetime…He is a legend!!!

In the Wala song: "Lubayan nyo nga ako" is like "get away from me" or in the song "get away from my mind". My interpretatation is that the toilet/bathroom-like sound recording is his inner voice/thougths, and the clear last line of the song "lubayan nyo nga ako" symbolizes him fighting his inner voice/ thoughts.

Don't think tooth for tooth is the right word. It should be fang for fang..ie vampire fang.

ahhh, speaking of words in presyon; pangil is literally the canine tooth. so it could have been "fang for a fang" in the translation. but i guess, "tooth for a tooth" is more familiar, so they used that instead. i think, "Wala" might be the same as ???? because then why didn't they put subs on the lyric vid. but maybe they'll release an mv?
