Pablo's ALON and LAON albums are a roller coaster of emotions. if you listen to them simultaneously, you'll be mesmerize how Pablo sews everything together that it almost feels like you're watching a play or a movie following a protagonist/antagonist discovering himself, going through character development, the hoops and struggles he encounters to the eventual moment he learns how to fight back and the inevitable outcome of life.

Interesting how you pointed out how Pablo was changing tone qualities in “mundo” (13:30)… Mundo is “world” is Tagalog. To me it feels like if Pablo could just shove vehemently the world away as it feels like it was pressing hard on him. To me Pablo was creating a desperate image with choosing to sing that word like that. It’s poetry and music colliding in such a beautiful way. Love your analysis of this poignant but masterpiece of a song. ❤

Aside from being a genius lyricist, Pablo is also an excellent storyteller when it comes to his songs. He considers himself as a bard thus his style of songwriting. His voice and singing style makes a lot of sense to me and i love it! I love how creative he is. Simply one of the best songwriters out there ❤❤❤❤❤

The boy who cried wolf is the title track of alon album...the trifecta of this album was tbwcw then drowning in the water (light feeling although still heartbreaking song) and the kumunoy ( subtitle in english). I think you would also like wala..these songs were written in his early years so a lot of struggles...

I love your review. You captured the intention of the artist (Pablo). He said that "perfection isn't the goal", he is more about authenticity. Pablo may not necessarily have the best voice in the group (debatable - I so love his voice) but his delivery is always the best IMHO.

The newer (by a week) album laon are more of his newer songs that more or less represents his state of mind right now.. all of the songs in this album were bop and happy... Total contrast of the alon album. Title track is neumun (new moon) but u think you would find blessed to be really cute. His tagalog rap song is getting attrntion in tiktok

My song ranking for Alon (wave) album are: 1) Kumunoy (Quicksand) 2) Kelan (When?) 3) Breathe The other album doesn't have a correct English CC yet. All members always intentionally arranges their songs on their album(s). I recommend listening to them in those orders.

I love every song in pablo’s albums tbh but for purposes of analysis you would probably enjoy Wala(a rather raw, heavily vocal track), and then from his album Laon I’d recommend Tambol and also Micha! - both pretty theatrical and out of the box. Really enjoyed hearing your thoughts on Pablo’s work, though. I hope you get to listen to the entirety of his two albums in your own time. 😊

I'm not into ballads and sad songs and I love Pablo's second album LAON (in time) more but TBWCW is my favorite song out of all the songs from both albums. That's how much I think that this song is brilliant - lyrics, vocals and music. The other song is PRESYON but I'm demurring from asking you to review that as it's a rap song. It's theatrical, though, and the lyricism, ugh. From LAON, would you please check out TAMBOL and MICHA. No English captions ATM, though. Actually, it would be nice if you would hear the other songs in this album because no two songs are of the same 'flavor'.

I recommend for you to react to Josh’s new album, “LOST & FOUND”. You will be amazed how his vocal performance has improved. He wrote his songs, directed the music videos and was involved in the music production as well. He is super talented and I am proud of what he has achieved. In the album, some songs revealed how he was “Lost” and one song was the resolution where he “Found” himself finally the way people see him. Although his collab song is a little too bold and daring but it did not go far beyond the limit. It was hard to pick my favorite song as they are all good.
