Pablo is ripe for a full solo concert. He has both the vocal and physical stamina to do so. His body and voice hasnt been well rested yet from back to back appearances since March. And from this performance he had to rush to the Mega Ball to sing and he still nailed all his performances. We are all just waiting for that album to be released.

SB19 singing "O Bayan Ko" with the Philippine Flag waving at the back (LED screen) is such a PROUD MOMENT! 'O Bayan Ko' was originally composed by Philippine National Artist, Maestro Ryan Cayabyab. I'm beginning to think that SB19 is now Mr. C's new fave.

I was there at Pablo's We Are Juan performance. It was a first for me and it's such a core memory. The crowd was so loud when he went out, so he had to restart Mapa to hear the music clearly. The hatdogs were just too excited (who wouldn't be?). All I can say is Pablo can really command the stage and his joy in performing is just so contagious. Plus his voice is just incredible live. I'm here for his massive growth this year, as well as for the other members. Much love for SB19!

MAPA had everyone’s versions. 😭 it’s so lovely to hear Pau bringing his brothers in his performances when it’s their group song. He wrote them and could sing it the way he made the demos but as much as possible, he keeps it the same like there’s five of them. 😭

I guess the choice to sing Ikako is to bring hope to a country that suffered and is still suffering from hardships (from poverty, corruption etc.). it's more symbolical now that he sang it during independence day. it made the song's message clearer.

I got a little emotional when I saw Pau's performance of Ikako. Been laying low on social media these past few days because of all the negativity the fandom has been getting lately. The message of Ikako was so timely like he's telling us we are all in this together until the end. I had to watch that performance several times.

I was at Pau's event and it was packed. It's also my first time seeing him and damn he's so BEAUTIFUL. He's shining in person hahaha. When he went down the stage, he was just in front of me and the others are already reaching out to touch him but I was so shy and scared to touch him 😭 so didn't lol. Also, I'm really glad that he was so happy in that mall show coz he had to go to the MEGA event after and we can see that he's really in a good mood that night because everything went well that day 🥹 In his solo event, he kept thanking us and saying that he did not expect that a lot of people would come.

Re Stell's ROOM: of course, Stell's rendition is fabulous but I am also in awe that Pablo wrote a song that's in a genre that's so different from their other songs. It's uncharted territory for Pablo, songwriting- wise. I remember their Prambors interview wherein Pablo said that the songs in the Pagtatag EP were of genres requested by each member. Except for Stell, because he requested for Broadway musical and Pablo said that it would be for the next EP. Well, apparently, it would be for Stell's debut. With a funky beat. 😊

Oh Miss Hurraira, I hope you can relate how we Pilipinos felt when Pablo did his part, we got goosebumps!!!! He nailed it to the core of our hearts❤❤❤❤❤. Hurraira, that song by Ryan Cayabyab, a national Filipino artist was a patriotic song expressing love and loyalty to the country. Everybody was so emotional.particularly in the backdrop of its problems with unending graft and corruption of government. They put so much faith and trust on officials that repeatedly dissapoint the people shamelessly.

My niece was at the Mega ball as she is a contributor to the magazine she didn't know SB19 would be there. She has a few clips of singing Bayan Ko. I guess if you are a singer by heart you can sing anything. I heard that this is just a one day rehearsal. Ken's solo part took me by surprise. I never heard him sing like that before and do repeat. They are more than Ppop boys so proud of them.

Hurraira I’m a puddle of mush. That day seemed like it became so so so special for Pablo who was all about being Filipino. With the level of appreciation he had shown before you could just tell how thankful he was on this day, beaming and looking so touched. He pointed at and went close to some people who I saw on twitter did beautiful things for him. I’m sure he saw all his hatdogs’ efforts 😭 the hatdogs put up food booths at the venue, I believe, did a flash mob with monkey masks on, gave away merch, and many more. His heart must have felt like bursting too seeing all of it and on an Independence Day celebration at that. There was a huge screen on the ceiling with an animated Philippine flag. His parents were seated at the front right side, he was giving slight nods at them during Mapa. Josue was at the control booth. His sister Alex posted a video from the upper floor. Everything about the day seemed like it was written in the stars. And here I am again romanticising everything 😂 Offloading all this appreciation for appreciative wonderful Pablo on you, thank you for being here 🫶🏼

The song is political, a plea for the people to wake up, to arise, move while they can, while they are still able, to do what they ought to for truth/justice/country. Their backup were 3 choirs, so there were about a hundred people on stage. The piece is actually a mash up of “O Bayan Ko” and our National Anthem “Lupang Hinirang” which was not shown on this clip. After they sang, a handful of people tentatively applauded, which should not be the case bec national anthems should not be applauded to. Watching the longer clip from another fancam gave me goosebumps. At that moment, I was proud to be A’tin, proud to be Filipino. And yes, got my Mega copy delivered early in the morning. What a way to start the day!

I also assumed it was a special arrangement for the event. I was none the wiser about that law too. But I’m so thankful to the professor for his prompt explanation about it. I already saw a tweet from a b1n1 fan questioning the performance and citing the code, and it would have started something again had we not been informed. On a slightly related topic… how amazing is it that the boys have the respect and support of intellectuals, national artists, and legends in the local art industry?!
