Caroline shared how returning to the area where she grew up in North Carolina and looking out at the Sound gave her a sense of not being able to capture the past that she knew there and not knowing the future. The North Carolina writer Thomas Wolfe famously wrote, "You can never go home again." How fitting for her to mirror in her music what Wolfe shared in his writing.
