At least if you're fast enough, with the bell fruit, like the cherry or strawberry in smash 4, you can pick it up in Ultimate and z-drop it and still have the opponent stunned. Even in the 3.0 patch

I'm sad Pac-Man can no longer Z drop and recatch fruit an infinite amount of times in SSBU 😞 I don't see really why they did though, sure Z dropping a recatching fruit allowed him to have an infinite combo but all they needed to do is prevent this combo from working is by preventing him from footstooling an opponent after Z dropping a fruit seriously it's actually that simple but decided to remove it anyway Edit:Footstools are techable in SSBU so the combo wouldn't even work anyways

I have tried for months to catch fruit, but every time I always fail to even run fast enough to catch one...is there some secret to running faster or something i'm not doing? I can't catch fruit no matter who hard I try, and I don't know how to do it. Please help?

Honestly just practice. Once you get consistent with the patterns it gets really easy. For the first four, you can catch them by throwing them next to hydrant and doing jump F-Air, for Melon you can do the same or run at it and use f-air when you're close. For Galaxian, I usually just do dash Jab to pick it up (Or F-Air or any aerial, you have to time it tho) and for Bell you can just run to the general place where it's on the ground and press any A move

Of course! Just transfer whatever inputs I say from the GameCube buttons to the joycon buttons!

The cycle infinitely refreshes each time you throw with B, you can technically recatch it however many times you want
