This first phase made me remember playing S Factor, I always had to use savestates to beat these metal bosses in it Good job on the boss, sometimes I miss coding my own ones

The fight looks better than ever! While the little minibattle is a bit too simplistic, it's just supposed to be a mini phase before the race begins. You've done well for what little material you got to work with.

Ideas: 1. Marble Zone: Bad Future should look like Quartz Quadrant Zone: Bad Future (just the background). And make a remix for it 2. Amy's sprites should look like the NPC Amy's sprites 3. Spring Yard Zone: Good Future should look like Collision Chaos Zone: Good Future 4. Fix Super Sonic's sprites from the CD style cuz they are just yellow Sonic sprites 5. Green Hill Zone: Past should look like the Tokyo Toy Show mixed with Palmtree Panic (Past) (Bigger Mountains and add the Goblin enemy if possible and for Palmtree Panic just add the trees from the background) 6. Spring Yard Zone: Past should look like Sparkling Zone (from the Sonic 1 Beta) 7. The Good Futures should have no enemies, like in Sonic CD 8. In the Bad Futures the enemies should have a broken texture, like in Sonic CD 9. The Past stages should have the Metal Sonic Hologram, like in Sonic CD 10. Metropolis Zone: Bad Future should look like Metallic Madness Zone: Bad Future

It is only metal knuckles that gets it. The other bosses will likely remain unchanged though. Glad you picked up the reference to his S3K boss gameplay though!

Probably not. Metal Sonic seems like a reasonable opponent for him to fight. Maybe as an easter egg, but I doubt it.

@@Pacca64 i like this, but how do you make custom bosses? (i know that You need a hex editor but i bet i could change anything to the boss behavior at all, i would proably softlock the game while trying to Edit a boss but IT makes the game softlock)

I couldn't do this if I wanted to; the sprite sheet doesn't have enough sprites. I had to build the boss fight around the limited artwork even; my original plan was for metal knuckles to grab onto the wall, but there are no sprites for that.

I have an idea for death egg zone past IT would Look like it was still being built and prototype versions (different looking versions of death egg bosses with different behavior) And it would have a more gray-ish fire ground pallete

Yes and no. This race sequence is part of sonic 2 cd remix, which has appeared in a few SHC demos. The new fight at the beginning has not been released yet, however.
