I find this arrangement to be more sombre and less engaging than others, most of the Canons I enjoy are more upbeat and happy.

You're probably right - I generally have more of a sombre style of playing - even more upbeat songs. Thanks for the feedback! In hind-sight, I'm not sure if I actually gave it much thought, as in how I want to play it. All I did was play it the way it felt right
