Pachelbel's Canon in D is one of the most famous pieces of classical music of all time, and is now a hugely popular choice for wedding ceremonies, usually performed by string quartets. This version for brass quintet is in Bb major and has been written to provide occasional lip-saving breaks for the performers. It is easily shortened by removing sections at each rehearsal letter should less music be required in the event of a wedding aisle performance.
