Oh and Welcome To The Black Parade By My Chemical Romance and Step By Vampire Weekend and How Far I’ll Go And I Can Go The Distance and Dance Monkey and Hotel California by the eagles and parts of Love Will Find A Way from TLK II and Beautiful in white and I have a feeling that Of The Same Pride from the Lion Guard uses it as well because all of those TLK/TLG Love songs are closely related to Can You Feel The Love Tonight and it uses The Four Chords of Pop in the chorus

Canon in D is my favorite music of all time. I learned how to play it on the piano when I was a child. When I first heard the Russian National Anthem, I didn't realize at first that it was based on Canon in D. I just fell in love with the tune. Now I know why. I also love many modern songs based on Canon in D, like Memories, Freaks, 628, Basket Case, Welcome to the Black Parade, Graduation, and so much more.

Look, the chordal similarities are there -- but the melody and arrangement and phrasing and words make it a totally different thing. Besides, Pachebell's Canon makes me puke from boredom, annoyance, and soppiness. Whereas the RF National Anthem make stand proud and wanna take over the world. So no, fuck off with your comparison.

Nah, the commies know exactly what they’re doing. Like the video said it’s a catchy chord progression (one that has been use in pop songs in so called capitalist countries at that). They’re trying to get in your head
