And tbh, India has a very deep connections with poems I really appreciate that you acknowledged the lyrics of the various songs and Indian Poets are just CLASS APART, I mean the lyrics they write, that is immortal, that kind of talent is rare to find... The live performance was like a medley of like 8 songs, not one song lol. Every time the pink header came on the subtitles was the indication of the new song (the pink subtitle told you what the song's title was and what movie it was from).

If you listened half the time you spoke, you'd actually take in more of just the few lyrics you enjoyed. You say he's a poet but definitely didn't treat it as such.

Arijit Singh, the singer sang a Medley of his film songs ( 10 to 12 songs). He is singing at a Music Award , Like Grammy . ( The audience is Bollywood actors and musicians).He has sung 600 songs in Bollywood and he is 34 years old. Won numerous awards. You can’t do the runs/slides as you have not learnt Indian Classical music for 20 years. In western music you don’t recognize nor sing micro notes, you only sing notes. The actors in Indian films don’t sing. It is the playback singer who does the singing and the actor just mouths the words.

The views are high because of the girl. Her name is Nora Fatehi n she’s number one dancer in India right now. She’s Moroccan Canadian who lives in India n all her songs are a big hit. She’s also the first African Arab female to reach 1 billion views on her song DILBAR n then another billion for another song Saki Saki. U also need to react to her songs Pepeta/ Baby maravake/ Naah/ Garmi/ Nach meri rani/ Rubaru/ Nachi Nachi/ Nora is a dancer but also singer, actress,producer... she’s outstanding. N for sure Arjit Singh is a huge deal.

But most known as a dancer, because that is what made her Famous! People have now stamped her as the Dancing Queen Of India!! Listen to his (Audio version please) Phir le aya dil. Binte dil (totally diff in this) Laal ishq Rihaa Ayat Rishton ke sare manzar (ghazal) Babul mora (thumri) .And India singers mostly do playback. ( In films) . The writer, composers amd the singers all are different. But recently Arijit has released his independent music . Please listen to his RIHAA.
