I saw this in theatre recently and I had already listened to the casts album but hearing everyone in the audience gasp was the best part of the show! They also gasped at "abuela claudia passed away", and on the last day of the production everyone clapped along and sang along to 96000 after the show, the energy of the audience during this show is always amazing!

The tunnel scene broke me. When she looks back to her “family” and then to the stairs and says “…Okay.” The song became not just a song of sadness but a song of victory. I’m happy she ends the scene smiling. It was us knowing Abuela was “ready” even if we weren’t.

I've been listening tp this song a lot recently after discovering Lin Manuel Miranda and his broadway work...the line "And now I'm wide awake, a million years too late" really hits hard. Only now, before she passes away, does she see everything. And the fact her mom's dreams became hers, and she "inherited" the dreams, phrasing it like that made it sound so poetic. Abuela Claudia will forever be my favorite In The Heights character for this song alone.

I happened to be lucky enough to see this live when I was still in high school. Watching her perform Paciencia y Fe live was even more powerful than it is in this video, if you can believe it. And she sounds even *more* incredible live than even on the cast CD! It's such a powerful song, and she fills her vocals with an *incredible* amount of power, energy, and emotion. It's enough to bring anyone to tears, really. Even now, eight-ish years after seeing the show, it still manages to get a little bit of emotion pricking at my eyes... Such a brilliant song, with a brilliant vocalist and actress to match it.

On the Movie Trailer, when she is walking through a tunel and there's a row of fine vintage dressed people. I will cry the second Usnavy says Pathience and Faith. Have survived AIDS 4 times and inmigrated myself 10 years to look after a dream... a dream I accomplished having dance for over 3000 persons publics and gotten standing ovations. I shared this video ober 10 years ago, and everytime I missed home I set this tune loud and cried and danced to it in my apartment... I flied back successful and accomplished to my very own Vibora. Abuela Claudia is the view of those who don't. Same struggle, different result. So grateful it's not been torndown due to you know who. Please you all have watched and commented this video help me do this movie oir Generation Rocky Horror Show. Sing and Dance out loud to it

She is now immortalized as the one and only Abuela Claudia thanks to the movie. I really wish I got into this musical sooner! It was this song that made me really miss my grandparents that are based in the US that came from the Philippines. Even though we're Filipino, I highly appreciate the musical for being relatable to a degree!

I would say I’m pretty well versed with singing and the technicality of it, and I am SO blown away by her belts. Literally the best I’ve heard come out of a human. It’s insane. Borderline inhuman. And she has beautiful vibrato with her powerful belts. Beautiful!!!
