we need a stronger, more competitive semi-professional league for women rugby in PNG, just like the Digicel cup for mens team. Also, we need a competition for our young high school girls to play rugby. Everything else will build on these.

This has been sad state of the Orchids being scoreless. Our girls need proper physical conditioning, proper dieting and proper consistent training and competition. The key positions in 967 need have not step up bring in the backs and forwards into game. Orchid strength is in middle only the forwards are pushing hard but there is no setplay where key player putin to create ways to put try. Hopefully there's improvement in the future.

PNG Orchids team has been disappointing, failing to meet the standards expected of rugby players. Their lack of fitness and performance is a waste of taxpayer and sponsor money, painting a negative picture for a country that claims rugby league as its #1 sport. Shame on the players, coaches, and selectors involved in this side. The Orchids have shown little heart in their matches this year, from the PM's XIII to the Pacific Championships. No friends No, nothing to do with wantok system, favoritism. If the coach was from PNG, then yes, it definitely wantok system. The NZ Ferns are a world-class team. They are top in the world in women's RL. So, playing against a top tier 1 team is a very difficult game. Some of our local girls, apart from the likes of Elsie Albert, Esei Banu, De LA Cruze, and Jessica Reeves, only a few of these ones have international & top level playing experience. You see friends Everybody knows that playing against a team like Kiwi Ferns will be a very difficult one. Many of our girls are local & selection is the key. Exposure is important, more overseas & more games against top tier 1 teams like NZ will make Orchids stronger & competitive against stronger teams. This game was a good experience for those local girls on debut. So accept the loss & Orchids learn from it. The only way to win the top tier 1 teams like NZ Ferns is to play against them & find our weaknesses. In the future, we will do better. Good game, Orchids. Congratulations, Kiwis. Final game to go for Orchids in Australia. Samoa, they will be another tough one. I hope the Orchids are ready? 🇵🇬👍

Our training facilities equipped with real high world standards, we need more coaching clinics, drills, teaching,techniques,skills, if we a too play with best world teams & players, we need more marketing of our women players across the Rugby league globals so can bring there experiences to help our woman's in Png to be groomed them stand against Any team in the Wotld, we might engage a Coach from Australia as well like for Kumuls

Theyre coaches are sleeping, and so are the players Just going back to the last two games against Aussy, and then now this, goodness me, The score lines are embarrassing, sorry girls yall just aint ready for this year.
