Loved hearing "I Love NorCal" !!! Most PCT hikers that come through are underwhelmed after the High Sierras. NorCal has a little bit of everything from trees, meadows, crags & then some.

It's also pretty hot in NorCal, and I think it starts to wear on people how long they have been hiking without leaving the state.

I love watching you guys, your positive attitude is so great! My son is hiking the PCT somewhere behind you so I love seeing what he’s got ahead of him. He is also having the best time but he’s 19 and we are far away in the UK so I find your videos reassuring ❤ Thank you

Zoo and Margarita are our son, and his girlfriend. They've found terrific support with hiking networks. Reach out if your son needs advice.

@@susanbaracchini9460 thank you so much. He has met so many supportive fellow hikers and trail angels etc. Whenever we speak to him he is so upbeat, it’s an amazing experience. You must be very proud of your Zoo and Marg!

Really enjoying watching each day. Thanks for taking me (us) along! That fish was some type of carp (not a trout).

Middle Fork of the Feather River at Belden. I left a large cab over camper there in 1989 and the Wilson’s who run Beldentown have it there as a place to stay. Worked on their old firetruck they had there, while stationed on PNF Initial Attack Forest Fire Engine # 682, two miles upriver, 1988-89. Backpacked the PCT southbound out of Belden spring of 89, with mountaineering metal edged skis on my pack. Steep climb.

Sadly the mosquitoes are bad in nor cal and northward due to our really wet winter... While in Tahoe try to get the lemon and eucalyptus bug spray.

Nice fish, but not a trout. Was a squawfish (Northern Pikeminnow). Hope you guys got ahead of Shelly Fire near Etna.

Just curious about if you are rerouting or if their is any concerns from fellow trail peeps because of the fire in Yreka (I think that’s where it is)

You know why leaves turn orange in the fall? Because all the ladies that pass by have pumpkin spice farts.
