I'm sorry I missed this live. Thanks for taking the time to answer so many questions. I'd love to see videos that compare and contrast the trails and the most dangerous spots on the AT….when and if you have the time to make them. Enjoy the break. I’m looking forward to next year's videos.

Just make sure you file the extension when you need to on your final move. You still get one final retirement move paid for by the government. Definitely pick a place with trail. I retired, now I drop the kids off at school and go hike for 4 and a half hours every day.

Random comment I’ve just tried the PB chocolate spread and tuna concoction. 😂actually it wasn’t too bad. I don’t normally eat tortilla bread, I find it a bit ‘bla’ 🤑however, the above filling made it palatable. 👍

Another good video. Most people don't understand life. Remember all of the guys that were crying at night in boot camp? Wandering Monk has been showing his hikes in the mid west this year. First Church of the Masochist is SOBO on the CDT. He does good videos and explains things along the way. There was a hiker that fell to his death near McAfee Nob. He was sitting near the edge and seemed to pass out. He just slid off the cliff. There are plenty of tourist towns along the CDT. Figure that prices will skyrocket after the election. Next year there may be difficulty getting food in small towns. You may have to have resupply boxes sent to you. MidwayUSA occasionally has sales on dehydrated meals with free shipping on $50 orders. @@goobsadventures I've been surprised at how many deaths there have been on the big trails in the past 5 years. Some of them freak accidents and a few murders. Good Luck, Rick

damn, I'm disappointed to miss the live stream but Allen and I went to a Demolition Derby with some friends I hadn't seen in over a decade. quite a few questions but I thought I'd be here for this, so I just have one late question. After traveling up the east and west coast, did you see an area where you'd ride out the zombie apocalypse? Some people take this serious as hell, so maybe just an area or a description. I don't know. Whatever you're willing to say. Just a dumb fun question.

I'd rule out most anywhere out east, too many people and back country trails are easier to access for the most part. I think I'd rather be up in the mountains on the west coast, just about anywhere from Mexico to Canada would be fine.
