Nice to see your new post !!☺ I take it you survived the mineral water without explosive diarrhea 🤢💩🌊💩🌊💩 As ever the Marmot magnet 🙃 Its a 5/10 for the food salted nuts just taste of salt to me and those poor Olive's look like they have seen better days I hope the tasted better than the look ? But the nut crackers look really good and Edamama Beans are a new one on me never seen before !! There is a reason why I never take my boots off hiking ?! You have just remineded me of why !! Your poor foot 😡😱 !! Glad you like all your new equiptment 🙂 And I quite get why you like to travel alone it is by far the best way to do it !! As for going off trail 🤔 So what !! 😏 You are not in a race 🙄 Have fun 😃🤩😍😘

Also, just wanted to say that I like your video style. So many other hikers edit in loud music so you can hardly hear what they're saying. Or, when they're not speaking the edit in loud music, but their vocal audio is really low so you have to constantly have to ride the volume on the computer. So, good job! I'm enjoying watching your trip. Thanks for sharing.

I’ve sure missed your video. You certainly have no obligation to post; but I wanted you to know that I really appreciate your commentary. I’m a 63 year old who could sure relate to your introvert comments: I love company, but it wears me out. I just got a permit from Agnew Meadow to Tuolumne Meadows leaving the 11th. As a flat lander near Palm Springs, I hope I don’t gasp over Donahue pass. If you happen to read this: rooting for you and may God guide each step.

Hey Twiggy Hikes! I ran into you today (8/5) at the Coffee Shop in Cascade Locks with Jonah (Pickle) and Courtney (Potluck). I've enjoyed following yours and others trek on the PCT. Great job to make it to the border of Oregon and Washington. Good luck on your remaining miles. :)

Don't worry about the side trips, it makes it more personalized. When you complete it , you can say you did the PCT and some bonus sections.😊 I do that on the golf course also. Thank you for the wonderful footage, so beautiful!

I know how hard it can be to film while you’re doing massively challenging hiking, so hats off to you! I love your balanced meals and your appreciative visual perspective. May your journey continue to unveil the beauty of the trail minus heavy challenges. I hope you’ve actually gotten through California by now, were able to miss the 🔥, and if not, be safe! 💜

I also guess that, when you are hiking on your own instead of with others, you have more eye/time to observe the scenery. Beautiful filmshots you have made there! Greetings from Holland.

Not to scare you but just being realistic. You have about 7 weeks to make it to Canada before you start experiencing some adverse/severe weather thru the North Cascades. Absolutely enjoy the trail and all the people hiking it. Wishing you amazing vibes.

Why did you get a new tent? What kind did you have and what kind did you replace it with?
@twiggyhikes2 жыл бұрын
I had an REI quarterdome 1 person. It was a good tent. I ripped it in the wind once but it was fine with some duct tape. I changed to a new one because I sent that one ahead because I decided to share a tent in the Sierra, but decided shortly after that wasn’t for me. I ended up buying a Nemo Hornet 1p. Both are good!
@tujungadave2 жыл бұрын
@@twiggyhikes I see. Yeah, sharing a tent isn't a good idea, unless you're really close to the person and know them well. Glad you got it sorted out. Mystery solved! 🙂
