So glad you still on trail; your vlogs of scenery are almost Bob Ross like; love your narration and the sound effects; a part of this beautiful country few of us get to see or enjoy; your one tough gal!!!

At timer 27.38 i took a couple of screen shots and zoomed in. It is the size of a small dog and you can see a busy tail just before it darts of to the left. It looks like it was a fox. I love all you critter shots in interactions with them. The animals seem to be quite comfortable around you. I've watch all your PCT video up to here so far and i am impressed. You are a true nature's child, born to be wild. Looking forward to seeing the rest of your PCT hike and look forward to what you video on trail in the future.👍

TYFYUL☺ Great video 💚 Love the Dog Vomit Slime Mold🤣best moment of the video 👍 Remember the rude man from real time not really that much to worry about Janean🙄 Get why you were heartbroken over missing 330miles and seeing the gradual change in the land around you ☹‼ But it was better than getting smoked or incinerated 🔥🔥👎 and as you say you can come back to do it later‼🙂 So glad you took the waterfall trail compleat with 🌈 (second high point) No idea what the skull is would guess a deer ⁉ And what ever the animal that crossed your path was we don't have them here!! Looking forward to the next one 🤩😍😘

As always thank you for bringing us along. Your insights about trail life and the mental toll it can take is necessary for folks considering a thru- or long section hike. Your ability to see the positive despite the hardship is admirable. Your openness to discuss both is valuable food for thought for aspiring hikers.

I was relieved to see you were still on the trail. I'm not sure if I would want to do it alone either. Getting together with other hikers is a good idea....you can still hike parts of the trail on your own. Nice to you hear that everyone has been friendly although I know you encountered a few who were not. I'm confident you will make it to the end and will root for you all along the way. Came across over a hundred banana slugs while hiking with my granddaughters in the Humboldt Redwoods in Northern California recently.

Just now I heard this song saying: "Don't let it bring you down - make it a memory". That made me think of you. With encountering some not so nice people sometimes. Or with not being able to walk Oregon yet. It is a bit like reading a book with different happenings. Don't let it bring you down - and enjoy nature and the animals and the nice people 😘

Great job! Such inner strength. You rocked it! Very beautiful. I've done a lot of off trail hiking. Many times you can find a small flat spot on the uphill side of large trees. Just big enough for one.

Yeah....selfish people boil my blood. What they fail to realise is all the people involved in helping them on the trail like trail angels and forestry workers and firefighters and emergency services and and and. Well done on 1700. Michael from Ireland.

Sorry to hear that you camped next to grumpy bear. I agree with you, if a person doesn’t want someone camping nearby then they should stealth camp or look for a one site location. Thanks for sharing your videos. You’re doing an amazing job. Be safe.

That was a really good video. Since that fire required you to skip ahead 330 miles, you received a bit of a mental break. You seemed to be in happier spirits and there was even a Twig mouth/toungue click at 10:39. That is a sure sign of your elevated spirit.

I definitely had a few great weeks after skipping ahead!!

Twiggy, did you ever run into the "The Field Trip" family, a mom and her four young boys on the PCT? They may have stated ahead of you, and completed the trail in 106 days. The mom, remined me a lot of you, a soft spoken women with plenty of courage like you, which is required to do the PCT. I have been binge watching your videos as of late, and totally enjoy all the details you include in your daily documentaries Thanks for letting all of us tag along with you...

Sleeping next to railroad tracks is horrible. I did that on the C&O Canal,.. trains on both sides of the river. Worst night sleep ever.

you are so smoart to have moved ahead of the fires. WA is so beautiful lots of ups and downs. Sections J and K are my favorite!!! who named that dog vomit slime mold anyway 🙃 You are very tender hearted and so courageous for hiking the PCT. you do great vlog's. I am glad you keep it real about what is scary and what makes you anxious. adn then you go out and keep hiking!

In 2016 in the Sierra I had set up my tent in a one tent space and at 10pm some guys showed up and loudly set up all around me. I woke up the next morning and a dude that I did not know was cowboy camping under the awning of my tent. There are definitely some rude hikers out there, sorry about your experience. Love your vids.

March 22! I liked my start date but started very slow 😊

What a wise choice you made to skip southern and middle Oregon at that time of year. It is no shame to do the PCT in parts due to wildfires...having to evacuate in the middle of the night would be nearly a worst case scenario. Oregon will always be there. Besides, later in the year, there are fewer mosquitoes...
