Happy birthday!! The statues are call Dogu and they represent an offering to "mother earth." They can look different apparently because it is up to the sculptor. I think they are to be a blessing to mother earth to take care of hikers on their way. They are a little creepy but after knowing this, its kinda cool someone took the time to do this and if it helps keep hikers safe then more power to it!

So we stayed at the LA RV Resort in Acton CA last year in our camper as a stop over. Them calling it a Resort is a huge stretch. When booking I was thinking “LA glamping” when reading their description. LOL They set us up in a spot with 5 fire ant hills 😮 All maintenance was definitely deferred. I remember the TRAIN!! It was adequate, kind of 😂

I Frozen I just found u this week and I enjoy every episode and want to wish u happy b. im near Montreal I if im honest with you got to say im a little bit jealous of you im gonna turn 65 this year and here in Canada im supposed to be old, but at 63 I kick my a..... and I start to train every days and my life change that for sure but u just put like a seed in my mind to do this PCT thing dunno in im capable to do it but time will tell me and I let u know. 29.3 milles well that a nice walk.
