Whew, so glad your ankle is getting better!!!! Doing a zero sounds like a good idea, rather than pushing. Now that is an unusual dinner!! Please take care of you, we can skip a day. Absolutely gorgeous falls with golden hillside!! Other PCT hikers going thru that area have all shown the same super overgrown trail, some with thorns...

Bless Big Foot. You guys are a good hiking team. So glad you get to see Merica again soon. What a reunion that will be. We miss him. ❤

I believe the raptor in the nest was an osprey. At least the white head and light colored chest is a dead giveaway. Not an expert, but that's my best guess.

Hey, don't scare us like that. Glad the leg's still working! Your bird looked and sounded like an Osprey, assuming they do things the same way over there on the west coast.

The built in pad pillow made me LOL so thanks for that! And for mentioning that he does have a free pad coming as i was ready to donate to get the man a new one! So glad the ankle held up okay, you had us worried there! Less so with the positive title though so thanks for the mini spoiler there 😊

The bird looked like an Osprey, and if you were near water, it probably was. Continue to enjoy each and every minute of your trip, regardless of what could, will happen!

That section of trail was overgrown when I went through in 2018. Like you, I was in the midst of a heatwave there too. Happy your fall didn't slow you down too much. Take care and thanks for another video.

That sucks man. Last year I was conditioning for the Triple Crown with a full pack and all, and tripped going down.. Knocked unconscious, twisted both shoulders back. Nothing dislocated but they will never be the same. Took about a year to recover enough to exercise on trail. GL! staying tuned
