Regarding the no trespassing signs....direct your complaints toward the sue-happy personal injury lawyers. My family owns river property that borders federal land with the property line cutting through the middle of a steep bank down to the river. A dirt bag on a dirt bike wrecked himself on the high side (federal land) of the bank and tumbled down on to our property. A lawyer convinced him to sue us for damages. Thankfully he lost the suit since he admitted the accident didn't happen on our property and partly because we did have a couple of old no trespassing signs posted. It still cost us our own lawyer fees. Needless to say, there are now bright new no trespassing signs posted every ten feet just like you saw. I'd rather they not be there too, but it's the world we're forced to live in. Anyway, appreciate the videos!

Yeah, It's a real shame, it seems there are no tresspasing signs popping up everywhere. Often ruining a scenic photo.

So if Frozen fell off the trail into the private gully and got tangled in a no trespassing sign and fence and had ten pins in his wrist like his friend, he would be a "dirt bag"? ok then.

@@tommybewick Stick with the program. The land owner is merely saying that he was being sued because the guy on his dirtbike ended up on his property. I can't speak for you, but I ride dirbikes and have for over 50 years and if I fell off my bike, I take responsibility for my actions. It's not the land owners fault you fell. I would praise them for letting me ride there. So yes, he's a dirt bag for sure, tommy.

Hey Jason, that group of loud campers brought back a flood of memories from my first hike three years ago at Tracy Ridge Campground at Kinzua Dam. Back then I could hike 8÷ hrs. no problem, nowadays I do about 4. I don't know if it's old age or just out of shape, at 66 all I wanna do is camp😂. (and have fun!")

other folks got through by taking a trail that goes Westward towards MT. St Helens (and out of the Mt. Adams wilderness) from the WA side of the Bridge of the Gods and comes back in before Goat Rocks. They used Gaia to plot their course and take an alternate.

The two frogs are you and Bigfoot! Lucky hopping over as much trail as you can get. Compared to hikers behind on the trail you have been lucky to get so much. Be well and good luck for the last few days!!🐸🐸

We had a cat named Ten Pin. We found him abandoned in a bowling alley, hence the name. I have enjoyed so much watching your journey on the PCT.

Gorgeous views! That sounded like loud thunder!! Seems really late start for sobo... Wow the reflection on mirror lake is astounding!! I love your putting gear under pad to level out, so simple yet so effective!!! Yikes 10 pins in his wrist, ouch!! Omg!!! That is the dirtiest water ever!!!

Beautiful foxglove plant. Every year that passes gets worse for a complete PCT hike. At least you got a great # of miles completed. Not do great for southbound hikers. Getting sad and happy for your near successful thru hike. Sad for me (us) your captive followers and happy for you and Bigfoot. Going to miss you

Glad you 2 had a big breakfast to settle your hiker hunger. The fire closures continue, so keep safe and try not to stress too much. Your return trip seems to be getting longer! Take care out there. Can't believe you're nearly finished. Canada's calling ya'll.

I am hoping you don't have to many more fire closures and that the monument is open when you get there. The west coast experiences fire every year and it is getting worse. We have it on the flip side here on the east coast a lot of rain and flooding from here in Florida all the way up to Maine there has been so many storms. Be safe out there.

Also, I know an alternate route from where the trail closes north of Stevens near Glacier Peak to where it reopens South of Stehekin, and another from hwy 20 closure to Holman pass, where you can go north to the closure, and south to harts pass, so get most of that section in, plus use a beautiful alternate for the closed section.

I've noticed on several episodes that on your left calf that you have what looks like to be a rather large/long scar. Was that from an injury or surgery? You're right Washington is really quite beautiful, the scenery in the past few episodes has been gorgeous! I'm sure the camera cannot even translate the depth or vastness of it all. Pure heaven to look at!

I was hit by a car when I was in third grade, that scar is from the skin graft.

Have truly enjoyed your trip and videos. So sorry about the fire closures. Question . Given the annual fire closures , why would you not do a south bound hike. Starting in mid to late May? Is it the desert heat? Or snow amounts in the cascades?
@FrozensAdventures
@FrozensAdventures 28 күн бұрын
There would be too much snow in Washington in mid to late May. Most SOBOS start around late June to early July. My time frame did not allow me to do a SOBO hike as I needed to be back by September 1
