All is well. He upgraded the tires only to give one of his worse displays of driving ability ever. It was like a Jingles landing without ever leaving the ground.

Not really worth it. Not only are engine upgrades the highest single cost in the game, 4 KLIM each? Type depends on the engine. While the first upgrade only needs stable energy? It also requires 42 thermosap crystals. Highly unlikely to get before the Mid Zone, even with obsessive farming of tourists and scrapping the armored components you can sometimes find on Squires and occasionally doors of Investigators. Which might drop one with the scrapper. Basically it isn't till the midzone and the Sap Collectors that you can get thermosap in the quantity needed to build an improved engine.

Picked up the game because of you. And now comes the "Actually Jingles" moment. You can get ThermoSap Crystals more reliably in the Outter Zone by scrapping Armored Panels/ Doors off the wrecked vehicles. Helped me upgrade my engine way before moving to the Middle Areas

The matter regenerator is indeed one of the most useful upgrades. It can even fix the yellow and red statuses on items (but not the end of life ×, unfortunately). However, my _top_ most useful upgrade is the Repair Station. It's so bloody sad it is a pretty much endgame upgrade. 1:45 omg, finally some proper rubber! I _highly_ recommend carrying a spare or even two, in case of a catastrophic blowout (can opener or spike puddle/log can do that), which is not repairable. Though towards the endgame I've switched to all-terain tyres, as those are good on all terrain, but still carry a full set of off-roads in the trunk for those maps where it's heavy off-road and mud/water. 3:57 with Anchor Obfuscation, the location and area-of-effect of the anchor is, well, obfuscated. However, the actual number of anchors in the area _is not._ So use that to your advantage. And this is the case where Anchor Radar comes in handy. 12:17 Jingles: "Have I scanned them? I have." UI: "You haven't". Never change, Jingles :D 23:04 I highly recommend always checking in abandoned car trunks, because you can often find some good stuff in there, and it's usually quick stop-and-go. 24:27 Acktshually, Jingles, it is not the only way to harvest ThermoSap crystals in the Outer Zone. In the Outer Zone you can often encounter Abandoned Squire cars, which are a police/army-kind of car, with armoured panels/doors on it. Scrapping those will usually yield some of ThermoSap crystals, as they're a component for armored parts. And, if you have a Liberator, you can always, ahem, _liberate_ those and use on your own car. I did that and had armoured car before even leaving the Outer Zone properly. 31:02 _That_ is water puddles. Or swamps. You can drive on them, it's just usually worse than mud. And the wrecked car there is the Abandoned Squire I mentioned above. With some free armored panels/doors on it!

I like you looking at the dust bunny, seeing that the boxes indicating if you have scanned it aren't lit up, scanning it and getting a new log for it because you hadn't scanned this variety of bunny then finally saying "yepp, I'd already scanned them." I never stopped using offroad tyres as roads are designed to be driven on so don't need an amazing rating for them. Water is a none factor in most situations but offroad is both annoying and frequent so getting the best traction for that terrain was my preference. Shocking speed is my most hated anomaly and why I stuck to armoured parts for the impact resistance after my car whizzed off in to a rock.

Hey, Jingles... AFAIK, the lightning rod actually ATTRACTS electrical arcs, in order to charge the battery easier. So using it in a SHOCKING SPEED zone, where electrical arcs catapult you across the map?? Maaaaaaaaaybe not the safest option available... FYI.

If you want armored panels and doors before unlocking them, look for a specific car called a "squire". They have a roof rack and a mounted siren so you can recognize them. They are also painted yellow. Several of the outer zone junctions have them and they always have at least 1 armored door and 1 armored panel. You can get them off the Squire with a Liberator tool. When he picked up that first anchor in the wall crossing junction what he didn't see where the tourists that spawned around him.

2nd zone - BOTH stable energy are on the way - just go via the main road. Even with a storm - plenty of time to get to the exit. A storm is not the same as the collapsing stability. You didn't HAVE to go thru the heavy radiation...28 minutes in - you still have storage space - just hit T and transfer it over and then fill the backpack!

I know we all give Jingles crap, but I have to confess. I pulled a Jingles today in this game.😅 I stopped right before an access checkpoint to top off my fuel and battery before heading to the next zone. But this one had the "Shocking Speed" condition, which has your car blast off when hit with electrical shocks. Turns out my plasma charger counted. Either merely charging, or my aim was really bad. Did I mentioned being stopped right before an exit gate? Yeah, thought my car was going to leave without me, but it stopped right past the gate and let me get in before leaving the zone.

Sort of. There are two side upgrades: mini turbine and rainwater generator (or something like that). I'm using them both at the same time and have no battery problems while having and using a resource radar, a LIM shield and a powered bumper.

"Thier's no way to find the Anchors in a zone suffering this Condition" Are you SURE about that? Cus the Anchor radar EXISTS! Its a Handheld tool i believe, which does exactly you think it does. Edit: Seems your Car may be surffering from a QUIRK. Relatively easy to fix, back in the garage next to hte Battery Charging switch their is a TUNER STATION. This Device will allow you to fix any QUIRKs your car has developed. You just need to input the correct CAUSE and EFFECT of said quirk and then the Tuner will tell you what you need to fix it, then you just bring that to the Tuner Station and WOBBLE WOBBLE WOBBLE, Quirk fixed. :)
