I was a performance (voice) Music Major at PLU in the early 80's. I just happened to decide the other day to see if "The Choir of the West" (then, conductor by Dr. Stone) was on youtube and found this piece. It moved me to tears. I remember my musical direction there to be extremely disciplined, challenging and fulfilling. I am so happy and proud to see that the same standards of excellence are still being sought some 30 years later . Bravo !

The students at the Governor's Honor Program in Georgia just performed this! Our director was present at the convention, and this performance is what inspired him to make us learn this beautiful piece!

This is probably one of the best performances I've heard of this song (except OSU which I got to hear live just last night and was phenomenal). Amazing tenor soloist!

I was at GHP! I performed in all campus. Were you a vocal major with Fitz?
