I used to work there during 1990 to 2000 and we were the one who built the golf course and the hotel owned by Shiriyama Northern Marianas(SNM) and I was married at San Francisco De Borja Church. My employer was DK brothers Construction owned by Pete Dela Cruz(Daklak). We built almost all the infrastracture of the Island, yes, all filipinos built all the buildings of this island and all the resorts that you see and sure I can relate on what you are talking about but you never mentioned that our culture over there is that we wave our hand, palm front to everyone you meet on the road.......everybody knows everyone in there.....

Very nice documentary. Reminds me of my time out on Saipan. Been to Rota a few times. Used to be an ASPARAGUS LOUNGE there, very laid back. Also FIGUEROAS.OWNER came to Saipan to try his luck but failed. I'm sure Rota is built up now. In comparison. I was in Rota in 1989, again in 95. Beautiful place indeed.

@notyhbynorthwest8 жыл бұрын
Yes, very much so I am afraid. In the 20 years since I first visited Guam and Saipan, I have seen Guam flourish and Saipan go downhill for a number of reasons. A great shame for I like Saipan far more than Guam.
