Hey Scott thanks for watching. I hope you get over and enjoy all that Desolation has too offer! We recently sold our boat Journey, but have an offer accepted on a new boat (for us) in fact heading out on a sea trial next week. Fingers cross all check out.

During a stay at the Toba Wildernest in 2019 we were treated to a humpback visit... right in the marina. Quite a sight!

Later June or early July is a great time to be up in Desolation Sound. It can get busy, so we find later in June, before the summer holidays kick into full gear, can result in some pretty quiet anchorages. September, we hear, is also a good time, although we have yet to experience that for ourselves.
