Man, I am totally loving your forecasts. I have shared your page with all my ski and snowboard buddies. We live in Sandpoint Idaho and would love to hear you broaden your territory just a little bit east, lol. You have mention North Idaho a quite a bit, but would love if it was a part of every forecast. Thank you for all you do. 🤙🏽

Walked outside this morning at about 7am, here in Chelan, to put some garbage in the recycle tote, and almost slipped face-first on a layer of ice, on top of the gravel walkway. I was shocked!

That will do it, just a little layer!

I'm in Ellensburg and it's raining at 28 degrees and doesn't appear to be turning to ice, i can see ripples from drops on the deck and it's dripping right off the roof how is that possible at 28? We haven't been above freezing in days surfaces are certainly cold enough!

Great question
@shawnkiesel534914 күн бұрын
It's probably rain from chem trail spraying. There are chemicals in the spray that keeps moisture from freezing at lower temps. Most likely barium salts....

Currently getting rained on in Spokane in a storm that would've traditionally contributed to a snowy La Nina winter. Now it's just gray skies and rain when La Nina's occur in eastern WA, someone please tell that farmer w the almanac.

Michael Snyder there do you think we're ever going to get to see an Arctic outbreak this winter after December we really only have two good months Ieft mean we can get it still in March and April but it takes more of it snow to the lower elevations it's really not looking promising the rest of the month

Hi Michael. Hey great show with plenty of info,, for those with the wisdom you have. Thats not me. You have been mostly spot on with your forcast's of easy for me too understand short term weather patterns. Thats why I became a member and have spread the word to all who seemed intrested. But I have a 79 year old cancer fighting friend on the moutain here in klamath county, Oregon that still can't operate his flip phone let alone see it well. He asks me what the forcast update is almost daily because of his long trip, "85 miles" too klamathfalls fot his heart specialist and for his cancer treatments, even further into Bend up north of here. He has an appointment on the 10th of Dec in Bend, returning thee 11th or 12th driving himself. The man's a work horse and refuse's help with driving. "Think he's like me, afraid of losing his independance, by Gov interference", Honorable! He is also working on his 5th back surgery schedualing in Bend on this trip. Could ya please give me a good guess what the weather might be during that trip. Just a guess, from one who knows what all that modeling looks like and means? Then I can tell him. Sorry for the long question. Just had to tell ya thee importance of my question😐 Cheers!😃

There will be a frontal system starting about Wednesday, Thursday. Tuesday looks good and Wednesday might end up being good also, but check tomorrow because one of the models showed this storm coming in a bit stronger. This could mean some mountain snow in southern Oregon... I'll check again tomorrow

Um... EE-phrata, not YOU-phrata... unless this is a Sesame Street-like skit on vowels and we're also exploring AY-phrata, EYE-phrata, AH-phrata, OH-phrata, etc., like I did with my kids when we'd drive through.

@@PacificNorthwestWeather it's the local pronunciation... I spent a lot of time out there with my grandparents; the EE is clipped short sounding very much like eh. My daughter is a linguist and charted the sounds but I don't have that font ;). The English linguistic alphabet has about 100 symbols (much like meteorology). More being added all the time!
