The reason they HAVE TO neurally connect to a Jaeger is because of the Jaeger's size. If the pilots were remote control those giant machines, the lag from the pilot's input action to the Jaeger will be too significant. Therefore the pilot must be connected by a neural link to ensure the absolute least amount of lag. And the reasons both pilots are needed is because the neural load for a single pilot is too much, therefore they use 2 pilots to split the neural load.

Godzilla has his atomic breath which burned a hole through most of the planet in around a minute or so. Gypsy kills slattern by venting its nuclear reactor- literally a knock off short range atomic breath- and it cuts through slattern like butter. You smoking that good shit if you think Godzilla even has a chance of losing. Unironically he could fight every jaeger and Kaiju in the first movie at once and still win. If you add all their weight together they still don’t weigh as much as Ghidorah which he was slinging around Boston and through buildings. Get outta here with that Godzilla disrespect

This movie is every Kaiju fan dream come true. Guillermo del Toro is the man and his love for tokusatsu, Godzilla, Ultraman ECT shows 🔥🔥🔥. 2:11 nope comparing the category 1 Kaiju to the Monsterverse version of Godzilla, Godzilla is bigger. In 2014 he was 355 ft tall. 4:19 Idris Elba

Godzila is 390ft(119m) while the flying Kaiju he fought is 207ft(63m), Gypsy itself is 262ft(80m), in the movie the Kaiju tier 5 is called Scunner and he is 439ft(134m) so he is the only one who is taller then Godzila from the movies but he still dosnt have Godzilas durability

The 2nd crew couldent eject becouse they dident have the time to wait for a timed explosion and hade to do an instant detonation. I cant remember if they said the timer hade been damaged or not but in the situation they were in it wouldent have mattered anyway becouse they couldent wait for a timer.

If marshall and the other one ejected into the pods they would still be affected by the impact of the nuclear bomb and definitely die, gipsy on the other hand was already inside the portal so even if they detonate it they won't be affected by the explosion since it would cut the portal already.

Legendary Godzilla is that the one from the Anime series/movie? I cant remember the name but i remember seing what i think was a anime movie where humans got back to earth from space and they were battling what they though was the real Godzilla as he looked like it but after they managed to kill it another enormous Godzilla was spotted easily 3-4x larger then the one they toke down. I cant remember the show/movie name but it was easily the largest ever depicted version of Godzilla.
