@@OfficialSomeGuy bruh pacific rim in my eyes is about making giant robots fighting monsters look as realistic as possible. uprising has serious issues with the animation, texturing, and sound design, and these issues overall downgrade the movie. in the first one, you could feel the weight of every single punch, catch a glimpse of every single gear and piston, and get a feel for how heavy the mechs are just by the sound of their internal framework trying it's best to hold together. uprising's CG was way too fast, with not nearly enough sound design to infer weight or power, and the jeagers in it were designed not by cultural identity or visual practicality, but by cyberpunk asthetic alone. i believe the term is style over substance, and that goes for most of the CG in the movie. he's not disrespecting pacific rim, he's pointing out the fact that uprising was doing the disrespecing for him.

Funny thing is the jaegers in uprising appear to have a smaller conn pod. Just by that you can conclude gypsy avenger was way smaller than gypsy danger even though avenger was said to be higher :P

Like a prequel to part one to get mako and original crew back in it maybe see those 4 jagers in more action but Obsidian furry was the best one of all from part 2 and saber Athena got to see them back in action but it was nice to see the younger guys in part 2 in comand idk how you guys could make that happen but it would grand...well worth it
