Prequel sounds good. Back story to more pilots and Jaegers+Kaijus. Having Staker with Coyote kicking some butt and saving Miss Mori and killing more Kaijus. If its sequel... I would like to see more fights, more Jaegers, more Kaijus, and more countries getting involved. Bring back Cherno Alpha and Crimson Typhoon. More team work, newer bigger M6-10 Jaegers, Boss C5-10 Kaijus, more scientific breakthrough from Newton and Gottlieb, and Hannibal Chau!! Yes? No? Maybe?

I would like to see a prequel,showing more of cherno alpha and other awesome jeagers. Sequel or a prequel,the important thing is for the directors to remember what this movie is all about:big epic ass kicking action and LOTS of it! Just dont give us some boring sequel with less action than the first one.

I hope at least one of the Wei brothers survived and they can rebuild Crimson typhoon but attach parts from Cherno Alpha, making it a 4 armed jaeger, making it the largest. And the surviving Wei can be the captain of a FOUR man jaeger team.

Pacific Rim 2 has defo got to be bout the humans going through the portal at the bottom of the pacific ocean to the anteverse and fight the kaiju's there, that would be epic :D

I hope there will be a second movie about them exploring the other side with the HUGE real Kaiju, like cat 10-15 where the jeagers have to team up 5 on one. Not the one you saw in the movie that was made to Invade us. And one or two mini episodes where you see figths that you didn't see in the movie (due to the length of the movie).

My idea for the 2nd movie would be that, terrorists groups got their hands on jaeger tech and now wanting world domination, thus the UN will build their new and improved jaegers and fight them. We would see mods from the terrorists groups on their jaegers as well. But by the end of the movie when the hero is gonna win, something happens and the breach is re-opened. Then BOOM, 3rd movie

a prequel set in europe background would be interesting, since berlin and paris, london were destroy before the movie start and human were force to retreated to only 2 settlement left (sydney and hong kong ) we don't know how did the battle goes and how people continuously abandon their territory from kaiju attack and it would nice to see how human fair against kaiju in "team work" rather than hack sword in completely solo combat like current movie.

in the second movie, let us see more fight about the jaegers (because they loose in the first fight) and make them with more muscles and kaiju level 5 and 6 to fight them. make a team of 2 jaegers to help fight those kaiju level 6. that's action

i got d same idea but since jaeger is too expensive 2 make i would like a smaller version w/ guns and cannons to support the heroic jaegers against the kaijju if they do the other 7 seas they should open 2 new breach sealing the other one and using the other to invade the aliens
