Crimson Typhoon, Cherno Alpha, and Striker Eureka were all named in the film several times. Romeo Blue is the only one that was in it (in the parade during Raleigh's voiceover) but not named.

QuestoPiccoloKaiju Typhoon, Alpha, and Eureka were all in the movie too, not just named. They each had screen time when batting against Otachi. Romeo Blue was a cameo. So were all the other Mark 1's (except Cherno Alpha, he actually had screen time).

Most of the "bayformer crap" was actually on john boyega. he was upset with the first movie for the pace and lack of agility fro the jaegers so, as a producer, he used his super duper producer powers to make them faster. Plus, the final cut of the movie was NOT steven DeKnight's cut, so his was likely more faithful. Either way, I think he's a bit more faithful than most people think. At least, that's the hopeful side of me talking.
