I made a couple of mistakes on the video but you get the idea. For instance, when I was in Japan and we got attacked, It should’ve been -3 DRM for them to attack us because being in Japan is -2 PLUS I had sea support in the Southwest Front. That would work against us if it was the other way around and the Japanese had sea control in the Southwest Front while we were trying to get into Japan which would’ve been -3 for us to attack Japan. I also overlooked the negative DRM when we pushed back on the China Front and the Europe Marker was in play. That would’ve been -2 for us to attack there. Same in the India Front. And finally on turn 19 the atomic bomb would’ve dropped ending the game immediately because we rolled a 4 Japanese action which indicates that during turns 17-20 if we roll a 4 for a Japanese action the game ends with the atomic bomb being dropped. Being fairly new to the game, the constant yapping, and the cat distractions, I overlooked a thing or two, but again, you get the idea. Great little game!

What a fun playthrough! Looking forward to the 1812 video. You can't have 2 fronts on 1 spot, according to Key Game Concept 9 so I guess that front would have 'jumped' Japan? Odd situation. I played 10 times or so and never won the game. I even reached a score of -1 once... Anyway great video!

These little games are great fun! 1812 is very tough, tougher than this one I think. Thanks for watching!

At about 7:30 or so. Japan rolls a 3 and pushed your Central Pacific front back. But. You had control of the sea. Would that not give them a -1 DRM? Or does that not work both ways?

@@jakecarrick2429 yes it works both ways, I overlooked it.

@@DualBrainGames thanks for confirming. I have been enjoying this game. I picked up the war of 1812 as well. Great little quick games for when I’m on the road or don’t have a bunch of time to sit at my table.

Do the turns mean anything ("January 1944") or are they generic?

@@donatist59 interesting question, I don’t know but would imagine it doesn’t, they gave us 20 turns because that’s what probably worked with the mechanics of the game. Thanks for watching!
