Why is there so little age variation with women's skating? The oldest for vert is only 20? Men's vert the oldest was 32. Average age for the women is 14, but the average age for men is 21. Women's skills drop dramatically after 20 for some reason, like in gymnastics?

its just bc womens skating has gotten insanely more popular in the last decade, ofc the age range is gonna be lower bc there are actually a lot of girls skating since they were practically babies nowadays. the ogs like miriah and leticia started skating when they were around 10 and even then skating just generally hadnt been as progressed. theres lots of different factors its not just that their skills drop lol

Pretty whack they gave the last girl an extra run to try and hit the 900. Everyone got 5, so should she have.
