Here’s a run idea. The Flash: play as the punch character and go for as many speed, attack speed, and dodge stats as possible. The fists would give bonus dodge and I feel like speed hasn’t ever really been shown off too much in previous runs

I did a one-armed taser run in order to test piercing and bouncing, and I can say with absolute confidence that taser works with both pierce and bounce. Also, attack's will first bounce at full damage to a second enemy and then the bounced shot will pierce for pierce damage.

The damage might work, but not the effect of the taser. I tested it with both piercing and bouncing, and there was no additional slowness spread.

yes, it looks like the ricochet and piercing work, but the problem is that the range diminishes hugely, cause I can see tazer shots going off after hitting the enemies but fades almost instantly, maybe its a bug that tazer shots after hitting something have 0 range and cant be modified whatsoever

yeah i agree the range is not a gun range its like a long melee range so pierce does more when you are close and the gun does list as having pierce

The piercing does not work. You can see him shoot some of them point blank and it just does the normal AOE. The times you see it hitting enemies behind is from the multi-shot missing the closest enemy and going past. If the piercing worked, you would see 20+ enemies getting stunned as each hit causes an AOE.

The damage on the piercing might work, but not the taser effect. I tested tasers, and there was no difference in enemy speed whatsoever.

I am happy you found sucess with this. I actually don’t know if you can get multiple ugly tooth now. I also have another build idea: Farmer: I recommend choosing dumb for this. Focus harvesting and items that give harvesting or allow you to get extra materials. Ex metal detector I just want to see how this will work out.(if it does) you can also choose well rounded or someone else if you want. Also if you go dumb, you should also get some luck and luck related items.edit:I also forgot to mention palms are optional.

@@dakotamorehead3499 yea it’s kinda item dependent and sometimes annoying, but it can be really good if you get the items associated with luck. Though my win with him was just two miniguns lol.

@@rexshadow2959 I have ONLY ever gotten minigun to appear when my build absolutely cannot build it. And really on the luck? I tried a luck based run probably... 5-8 times ish? I mean, I could get to wave 12 occasionally but not nearly as consistently. I really like the luck/dumb build where you get the Elephant items 😂 but it isn't that great in the later waves

@@dakotamorehead3499 Yea I'll agree with you on that, luck is bad at the later rounds and is probably why its inconsitant. Though I find the warrior so much more tedious to play. Just because I cant get any consistent thing going for him.

True Pacifist: No weapons allowed. Only leveling up health/armor/dodge/speed/harvesting No damage boosts, no matter what

Only win I got was double wisdom, lots of sausages, a ton of Cyballs, (only) one snake and two bandanas. Weapons were 2 level 3 palms, 3 tazers levels 2, 2, and 3, and an epic minigun. Killing the regen mobs directly is a no-go (whacked at one for like 4 full seconds) but when I went after the largest groups of weak enemies, they died from the cyball procs, and the burns. Also, after I got full weapons (3 palm 3 tazer) I got 2 piggy banks and spent waves 5 and 6 hard econning. Stats were speed, harvesting and lifesteal early, elemental damage and luck late. I took % Damage whenever there was none of the previous stats available, but mostly to not pay for rerolls. Not sure if it's even possible to try and recreate this, but it does show that it's possible.

You should try masochist if you haven't yet. I did a build last night that was full rocks and stacked life regen as well as getting lucky with the epic item that gives damage every second(can't remember the name). Ended up unkillable with infinite damage scaling. I'd be interested to see what variants you could come up with.

Fire damage seems unaffected by the damage nerf so you could focus on full fire damage to pivot from pacifist to fire damage

Same thing with the minigun, it can’t go below 1 damage so having crazy fire rate is still really good

The great thing about this is that there is an upgrade which allows fire to spread, meaning you could let the tasers slow enemies to group them up and then use the flame knuckle to ignite them. Controlled burn build

Tazer + Fire w/Snake and Flamethrower provides the lethal pivot you're looking for.

Run IDEA --> Vampiric Psycho: You have to pick a life steal ability whenever you can (items count too, you don't have to lock them if you cannot afford them), and you do NOT have to reroll for one if there isn't currently. You will do this as a Masochist character, and you can choose any starting weapon of your choice.

Yo, I got a fun one. Elementalist + Shivs + fuck melee damage + max attack speed. Start beating on enemies with a lot of health and the rest of the screen just dies.

It looks to me like taser projectile distance is affected by your range stat, unlike every other projectile in the game except flamethrower (which I'd bet behaves the same way). It was definitely piercing, and ricocheting, but would only travel as far as its max range in either case.

Run Idea: Buy out the shop, and re-roll and continue buying until out of $$. Any character, you can skip over weapons after you have collected your initial 6, but you must purchase upgrades for weapons.

note, taser does pierce but due to its nature the projectile cant go further than the range you have, so unless you're shooting into a horde pierce will do nothing. I've not yet found the ricochet interaction.

I know you just did a taser build but I want to suggest mine again. You choose mage with a taser, and then you just keep getting tasers as your only weapon and boost your health, defense and health regeneration. You can get extra elemental damage if you want but it's usually not really needed all that much because with 6 high tier tasers you do more than enough damage already.

Try the standstill kill build where you can’t move until the last 10 seconds of each wave (for collecting materials)

Pierce only does a % of shot damage; one damage = negligible pierce damage. Same for ricochet.

Reto at 31:15 I paused to count the actual damage pop ups to help with the science and there are 20 '1' damage markers, some extremely close to each other, mere pixels. Given you only had 5 tasers and only one shot 3 bullets, it seems the pierce mechanism is working somehow.

The only thing I can think of that would work for a Pacifist gone rogue (pun fully intended) would be 6 shotguns with burning and max critical damage and just a tiny bit chance so when it does hurt, it hurts. One rocket launcher, and snakes so as they clump they burn.

So it did look like it WAS permeating back, but it seems like the range isn’t unlimited for some reason and the lightning bolt doesn’t seem to carry on visually for some reason. I have no idea how it work, but it definitely VISUALLY appears to be affecting things further back than before.

I'm Loving the current episodes and Its great you get to interact with the community via builds. That said I have a build you might wanna try: The YOU CAN'T TOUCH THIS, or TAG. Essentially you have no weapons (Litterally Nothing), you take the pacifist for the material gain and you focus on movement speed and dodge, you're fast af and can't get hit and even if you do your a dodge ball god. Hope to see this tried out, Love your content keep up the grind!

I would say your best chance would be to do a fire build. Mostly wands I would thing with a torch or two would also help I think. Ut mostly it would come down to if you get the right items

Thought I was getting a shoutout this ep it’s super funny how excited I got really happy you did a pacifist run tho Also a build idea reap what you sow Get a bunch of piggy banks and try to get a lot of harvesting that would make the harvesting skill really op if you get 35-50 luck increased chance for rares which you get piggy banks and wheelbarrow which is harvesting up. I don’t know which character would be good with this maybe one that gives a high luck stat so you can get more crates which have a decently high chance to give you piggy banks and wheel barrows.

Bandana works, if you see there is a slow effect on enemies pretty far back from the ones you hit and the ricochet i think it does but not so sure about that one

I've played this 5 tasers and flamethrower + hit's have a chance to burn enemies + burning spreads to nearby enemies + faster burning + elemental damage up and damage up

Also, It looks like there is a unit number limit on the screen. In the later waves, you can see them disappear to spawn again. Who knows if the ones that go into the void count toward your enemies survived. I'd assume not since you get the same money harvested at the end of each wave. So then it might be a good thing to kill some during your pacifist runs.

it looks to me like the piercing does work on the tazer but it doesn't have a lot of range. I'd test it myself but my toaster gets framy with a lot of enemies on screen so until I upgrade I cannot play the pacifist.

I don't entirely think so. The game tends to round 0 damage up to 1. Like how this character starts with -100% damage (and can go lower) yet still gets kills on earlier rounds. Piercing probably just isn't seen as it pierces into the hoard immediately.

so if you want to kill with the pacifist you have to get less then-200% dmg and less then -7 elemental dmg with the taser since (and idk why) that incrises the weapon dmg (in this case it goes from 1 to 2) then the lower you get your elemental dmg the more weapon dmg you will do p.s. i got this by cheating so i don't even know if you can get this numbers in a normal run

Broken build: SMG Mage. Get as many SMGs as possible, combining them does nothing. Get broken tooth, bandanas, scared sausages, snakes and ricochet. Focus on elemental damage and life steal. SMGs spread the burn much better than all other weapons. Wave 12 nothing comes close to touching you
