I purchase shipping boxes from Uline and Paper Mart. USPS provides shipping boxes and mailers at no charge.
The Geami Paper Wrap/Green Wrap/bubble wrap replacement is from Eco Enclose.
All tissue paper, paper shred, ribbon, glassine bags, and cello bags come Nashville Wraps, ULine or Paper Mart.
I design all my labels and print them myself on my HP Office Jet Pro (inkjet). I use Adobe products for design and purchase full sheet labels from Online Labels and Labels By The Sheet.
I purchase all of my soap boxes at Wholesale Supplies Plus.

And I think women owned businesses and small businesses should all stick together. And I’m confident enough in my own product that I’m not threatened by another company’s products. And there not threatened by me. And that’s awesome!” I love watching ur packing videos most of all. My favorite part of soap making and bath n Wiccan products that I make is packing orders. I love to pack and wrap anything. I don’t know why. I’m weird who knows. I’m the person at holidays that everyone asks to wrap there presents for them. I don’t even charge for it in my shop because I love doing it so much. So more packing videos!!! Make 1 packing videos a week. Like u don’t have enough to do. Xoxo stay cool!

I love that you named a soap after an family history thing. You always do the best packaging, I know so many people copy your ideas but your are the Queen at it. Thank you for the great video! I SO missed your videos these last couple months. I don't know if you talked about why you were thinking of not doing them anymore - if so I missed that. (Something about KZbin changing things?) I'm glad you are back! I liked your "Oh baby" story and your comment about loving toddlers....which made me think of my Chickens, as when they run around they look like toddlers running in dippers. Thank you! Yes, the new changes by YT were a bit scary but I think we're doing okay. They made it sound worse than it seems to be. That being said, I'm sure there are plenty of channels and people that needed to be set straight on the matter. Haha! I never thought about chickens being like toddlers. I’ve been using Pirate Ship with my Shopify website for shipping for 2 years and I love their rates! I didn’t realize USPS had cubic boxes, so I will have to check them out…i’ve been using my own boxes and generic bubble mailers. Hi Holly, I've been checking out a lot of sites because my daughter is thinking of selling soaps on line. She has a nerve condition that prevents her from driving so she was hoping to make a living that she can do from home. Your videos have given me a lot of information that I can pass on to her. So I thank you for that. Question: In your option how many soaps should she start out with? She wants to get started right away but she don't want to over load herself.

Thank you! Shipping outside of the US is tricky right now...it's still tricky IN the US. Many times packages don't get delivered here for 2 weeks still! I am holding off on opening up International until some of that gets resolved.

Never heard of Paper Tape before, so not sure of how much of an issue it is. But, I have worked in a Post Office before, and just wanted to say, it would scare you if you seen how those packages are handled. I worked as a Mail Carrier, so we would sort the Mail, and then grab our Packages that were already sorted to divide them up onto each person's Routes by others. When I 1st started working there, I would always hear the Package Sorters working over in their space, but the room was divided so I never seen their side. Until 1 day, I heard a loud *BOOM* coming from over there. I jumped, not sure what the heck just happened. My Trainer explained that another Package hit the ceiling fans. I was beyond shocked. Those ceilings were frickin TALL! How the heck could a Package hit the ceiling fans? When we finished sorting our Route, she took me over to see how the Packages were sorted. My eyes went wide, and I will never forget it! Packages being thrown like a Frisbee, or thrown like a Basketball into the bins that our Packages were separated by Routes. The ceiling fans themselves were missing many blades (they had to replace the ceiling fans completely every few months), with some having absolutely no blades left on them at all. The only Packages that they weren't allowed to throw, were the ones that said "Fragile" on it. If it doesn't say "Fragile" expect that it will be thrown around. 😥

Oh my! That sounds quite interesting! My husband has a friend that works in the post office and it sounds like it doesn't get much better on the actual truck/transport side of things either. It's a wonder we get anything!

Hi Holly, Do you have to pay for the pirate ship app for your shopify story? I am new to shopify and as a non-techy person feel grateful I was at even able to get it launched! Since my store is just a baby, I am trying to find the most reasonable options. I love your videos! It makes me want to run out and buy all the great packing materials you have but alas, Rome wasn't built in a day :)

Hello! I do not pay for the app, it's free as far as I know. I think anyone can use their site also. Just go to your app options and you should be able to easily get it linked up. It's really a great app. Thank you!

Can I ask how you would recommend package to ensure the soap doesn't melt during the HOT HOT SUMMER DAYS!!!!

I don't really have to worry about cold process soap melting. My biggest concern is for the wax melts. Some times it is risky. I had a customer get melted donuts with this release. Unfortunately, I do have a heat warning in my terms and conditions because I just don't know what they will be subjected to in transit.

All over the place! Hahaha, I buy from most of the suppliers out there. Bramble Berry, Wholesale Supplies Plus, Rustic Escentuals, Nature's Garden, Indigo Fragrance, Aztec, Flaming Candle, Northwoods, etc.. I then mix several of my fragrances.

Thank you Johana! Per the note on the top of the website, we have run out of shipping supplies and so we've closed down the store until the holiday release. This turned out to be an opportunity for us to focus completely on the holiday release. We'll have any remaining products (there isn't much) and holiday products coming back in a few weeks. The release is tentatively planned for November 12 but it is subject to change. We hope you'll check back!

@Sammie the sassy dog This will entirely depend on where you live. But in the U.S... To sell Soap, it is not "required", but it is highly recommended to have Insurance. This is because you are making a product that will go on someone's skin. If you mess up on a batch (don't thoroughly dissolve all your Lye, or accidentally forget to include an Oil, making your Soaps Lye Heavy, etc...), you can be sued. Best to protect yourself. You don't want to be sued due to an accident, and lose everything.

@@sammiethesassydog4164 Do you plan on only doing Soaps and Cosmetics (lotions, body butters, etc...)? Or do you also plan on selling Candles? That will depend on which type of Insurance you would want to get. (Not all Insurances will cover Candles, and those that do will be more expensive than Insurances that don't cover Candles)

@@sammiethesassydog4164 Your best option would be to go with "Handmade Artisan Insurance". They offer $1 Mil Coverage for $285/Year, and $2 Mil Coverage at $385/Year. They cover both Soaps and Wax Melts (but they do not cover Candles).
