I retired and closed up the business part of it but I still make soap for family, friends, neighbors an old customers. I’m busy more than I was before. I don’t charge for my time to keep prices down cause it’s more of a hobby now . Since hubby past away from cancer I make soap to keep busy. I love watching your videos and especially the part at the end when you show your land and updates on the cabin.

Wow Holly the cabin is coming along nicely I can’t wait to see it finished it’ll be so beautiful. Your knitting is very good I wish I could knit I bet it’s very therapeutic. Your soaps are just gorgeous and yes I’m one of the folks who loves your pack n chat videos I love them it makes you very relatable to us all especially with your personality not only are you humorous but very nice too. The dogs seem to love the block lots of room to roam around hopefully it doesn’t keep raining so your husband can move forward with the cabin. The cabin is AWESOME!!!! I'm so excited to see it finished! The homeless situation is dire all around the western world I think. Here in New Zealand, it is so bad and its poised to get worse. Makes me mad because I don't think there's any reason for wealthy western countries to have people that can't afford housing. I tend to get on my soapbox about it 🤣Its crazy how expensive everything is. Loved the video, it always cheers me up to see your happy face and listen to all your news 🥰

I can't wait until I can order again! I was prepared to order with the rainbow release, until my dog skinned one of the pads on his hind paw. I had to have the vet stop by to make sure it wasn't infected, plus I had to reorder his heartworm meds. I just opened the last bar of neon rainbow that I got from you before we even started packing to move.

I love hand died yarn, but usually can't use it because it is wool. The word you were looking for instead of skine is a hank of yarn. In Portland, Oregon we have a yearly yarn crawl...I went for the first time this year and found a cake of yarn that was baby alpaca...loved it but is was $44. I also got to see an over shirt that I loved. The viscose yarn was made from sugarcane...it was so soft and was reasonably priced at $15 a hank.

Yes, thank you! I finally remembered it was hank yesterday. I am going to have to feel baby Alpaca someday. I heard about the Portland Yarn Crawl. I watched a lot of videos about it!

I moved to Marion, Montana from San Diego California 19 years ago. I have to say I have not had an issue with mean people here. Quite the contrary actually. People here seem to be so nice in my experience. in California I never have had people wave at me while I am driving by. It might just be because of the state of the world at this time. That’s absolutely no excuse. There are also soooo many people here now compared to when I came. I really miss those days. There was hardly any vehicles on the road compared to now. It’s crazy!… I hope that things get better in that way for you. I love your purple. Purple and black are my favorite colors together. I love watching all of your videos.

I am glad you have had a better experience. I guess coming from Missouri everyone is just so much nicer in general. Here, so many are just mad that you're here. I left here in 1995 so I was gone quite some time and had time to adjust to the southern way of life. I get so tired of being flipped off for doing nothing. One time recently, we were following someone on Hwy 2 that was driving erratically. We got to that spot at the 93 bypass where it opens to two lanes and we got flipped off. Why? Yesterday we were on the south end and a guy pulled out in front of us and we were driving straight, and he flipped us off. He chose to turn out in front of us. Why? I know from being in the local FB groups that people here are really short tempered.

Missouri has changed a lot too. I remember when we moved there, everyone waved when you passed them on the back roads. That is a thing of the past for the most part. I'm so glad you love the videos! I need to do something with purple and black sometime too. Fun!

Absolutely gorgeous cabin & land! Ive never asked but would love to know how much land u have and if u have mineral rights. It's been a dream of mine to build a cabin with no paint inside and out. I can't convince my husband to do it though. Dang if i didn't feel connected with you about coffee, soap & knitting but mine is actually crochet! I walk around the house all day drinking coffee 🤣 . I think your pack & chat is a great thing. It makes me feel like others probably do, a little less stressed by taking a breather & it's great to let us get to know you! It's refreshing! All the products are beautiful!💗

Thank you! We have 9 acres out here. I'm not sure on the mineral rights particulars. I never thought I wanted the wood inside but I am loving the way it looks. 😊 Knitting and coffee is the best! I look forward to coffee and knitting every morning and every evening.

Holly, I love your pack and chats, but I could be a little bias since you are my favorite soaper! Materials have gone up a lot in the past two years....almost prices you out of making certain products. The house is coming along nicely!

Thank you Ingrid! It really is quite ridiculous. I feel like soap is one of those products that is sort of capped in price. I make mine with loads of cocoa and olive oil and so I can't retail my bar for as low as other makers. I tried the It's Just Good Soap line back in the day but that didn't really go too well as my customers wanted my luxurious recipe.

I tried to order the green St. Patrick's Mabels and another color and when I went to the cart to checkout, the green Mabel had been automatically removed and said they were Out of Stock!

I get my knitting yarn from Knit Picks they have washable yarn that is real merino wool. . I also love their Gloss lace weight which is very fine merino wool 70 % and silk 30%

Oh nice! I have gotten some cotton from Knit Picks but haven't tried anything else. I know the Crazy Sock Lady is making a sweater with Knit Picks and it's looks great. I realize now that it wasn't worsted weight that I didn't like, it was just the standard acrylic worsted weight that I don't like. It just hurts my fingers. I stopped crocheting for almost 20 years because of it.
