Slowest pack animal and most high maintenance at home and on trail. They’re built for meat or milk not to carry heavy weight. You’ll be lucky to get 5 years out of the best bred pack goat if you pack them over 25lbs. and that’s if they don’t die from Urinary calculi first. Have to carry a spray bottle to squirt them in the face constantly when they try and ram you with their horns and have to “flip” them on their back to dominate them. They don’t like to get wet, hate being left and will scream bc of bottle baby tendencies. They’re cheap for a reason. Way better pack animal options out there.

Yeah people have been doing it for centuries for absolutely no reason 😂 nice name by the way you're obviously not biased in any way shape or form

@@MantisTobogganFgtRtd 🤣reading must be challenging for you since you didn’t have any counter arguments to any of the points made. Centuries? lol The first goats used to “pack” on this continent and in an environment and situation presented in this video started in 1974. The anatomy of a goat isn’t built for carrying a lot of weight. Even the top goat guys admit this. Mark Warnke has been experimenting with a heinz 57 mix of goats for over a decade in hopes of breeding a bigger goat for packing that would hold up longer and that has failed. He admits this. Pack goats are a novelty at best and there are much better pack animals available including llamas, burros, mules, etc

@@PackAnimalTruths yeah I can't read what you wrote you're too insufferable and honestly I just don't care 🤣 I'll make a goat carry a hundred pounds then eat it if I see fit to do it

@@zak5102 just science. Do some research for yourself outside of an edited youtube video. The information is free and available. I’m actually saving you a lot of effort, time, money, etc.
