Isn’t it crazy how we can differentiate all the tracks from each other, while most of us never really carefully listened to them?
@dragoro30334 жыл бұрын
because each track elicits emotions in us. By listening to the music we can enter a world of everything. A world of excitement, accomplishment and there is no stress to it. We can build to our hearts desire and each track accompanied some impactful moment the game had on us. Each song represents our stories. I think that's why we know these tracks. It's the same with life. When we get to learn the tracks, we get to recognize whats going on better and better in our daily lives. Sometimes the track is slow. sometimes its too fast, and sometimes it feels like its over before it began. So don't stop listening!

This is why I feel sorry for other people my age who had parents who didn't let them play video games for dumb reasons. They won't be able to understand the nostalgia and art behind the game. I was born during the right time and was lucky enough to build my childhood around this game, I don't feel like I wasted any time like how I was told I would feel. I have no regrets. This game shaped who I am today and I'm more than happy to be able to still experience and share this nostalgia with others. Thank you Mojang

Dude this makes me remember playing the minecraft P.E demo so many years ago. Me and my sister would build our little wool houses without doors since they didn’t exist, there was 3 hotbar slots making it really annoying to build, but it was so simple. We’d build underground tunnels connecting our houses, we would even build swimming pools filled with lapis blocks because water buckets didn’t exist. I remember when we both got the full version if pocket edition minecraft, the first world we played together we lived in the crevice of a mountain at an underpass, our big wooden house we built. I remember my first single player world, I lived inside my own dug out hole in the side of a mountain, my mine was across the sand by the shoreline with trees surrounding the area. I remember the first time I had ever found diamonds. And most vividly of all, I remember the duplication glitches I would use on gold iron and diamond blocks, and littering my world with nether towers from the newly added nether reactor cores. And making holes underneath the towers and putting chests everywhere and farming melons. I miss my old P.E worlds, what I would give to be able to access them again. Simple times with nothing to worry about besides accidentally deleting the world.

This'll be something I won't ever be tired of. So nostalgic, even more for veteran players who were there since the beginning. I remember years ago, finding this game on a whim and logged onto only to get beaten up a zombie immediately. Scared me half to death but made me laugh. Who knew that little blocky game would turn into something people of all ages would enjoy for years to come...
@ignqloof4 жыл бұрын
There's so much in this block game that can bring in the best out in everyone, that can bring so much happiness, that can bring people together, and that can create memories. I already have so many, and so many more to have. I'm glad I'm growing up with this game, and I'm super happy I get to share it with others.

“Growing old is mandatory but growing up isn’t” - Someone I don’t remember. There’s a lot of comments here about leaving and coming back but remember that we don’t have to leave. It’s ok to be a child sometimes. We don’t have to grow out of playing a child’s game bc what makes it a children’s game is us and how we perceive it as :)

As we grow older the memories start to fade of what made childhood great. The first time you had that sleepover. That first time you played your first game. That time you opened KZbin and see this new game with a small channel called yogscast. The memorization of the minecraft parodies. The time when you where alone and thought this is it. The time you met new people and your first real friend. The staying inside to play games on your iPod and watch KZbin videos about these things called mods. The first laptop that you almost break thousands of times. That time you played multiplayer and had fun with your classmates. That time you installed mods but didn’t know about hardware restrictions. That time you installed “hacks” to spice up your multiplayer.... that time you thought you out grew minecraft.... that time you started watching anime. that time when you met real friends who last lifetimes. That time they got you back from loneliness. That time you got them minecraft to relive your “childhood” but didn’t know you where still in it. That time you had genuine fun online for the first time again. That time you graduated and grew apart from everyone but your lifetime friends. That time you felt lost. That time you got a goal. And now you work towards it. Dear minecraft thank you for everything...

good of a place as any i remember playing Minecraft for my first time, Minecraft PE Lite. back then, i thought creative mode was the main game and survival mode was some sort of add-on. back then i didnt understand any mechanics of the game, most of what i did was dig down to bedrock in creative. then i stopped playing. fast forward 6-8 years, and i finally buy minecraft on a phone, and i remember that weird game that i didnt understand. first thing i did was explore. i found a really nice spot in a dark oak forest with a lake, and built a small wooden house atop a ravine. used the water from said lake to drop down to the ravine. mine my first iron, first diamonds, crafted my first enchanting table. i was learning. fast forward several months, i decided to try joining servers to see what it was like. it was a different game with others to play with. after a dozen servers, i joined one where i met my first minecraft friend, he called himself the Traveling Trader. he owned a donkey and travelled to sell his wares. made a couple more friends, we spent time exploring, fishing, mining, your basic minecraft experience. then the hackers came. so, he made his own realm that the 5 of us could play on. the realm lasted two worlds, over a year in time, and each day was better than the last, even if i kept falling in lava and wanted to quit.. but decided not to, because “no matter how items we lose, we will never lose our friendships.” theyre still friends to this day, we have our own discord server and talk every few days. maybe some time well all play together on java. dont know what to take from this, just wanted to type lol

It did not end. I am still here. I am still playing this game. The years of memories. The years of being afraid of herobrine. The years of playing pocket edition on the same world with my brother each day. The years of searching for diamonds. It didn’t end. It is still here. I still play this game. I am no longer afraid of herobrine, go figure. I still play Minecraft with my brother. I still search for diamonds frantically. Sometimes I wish I could go back to the good old days of playing pocket edition with my brother, but then I realize that I’m still in the good old days. It is here. With me. There is no reason I can’t play Minecraft with my brother. And that’s exactly what I realize. I am still making memories each day, in the same world, with the same person, with the same game. I’m happy to still have these days with me right now. Tomorrow whatever I do, if it is mine diamonds, build a house, make a farm, I’m still the same person as I was 8 years ago inside me. Sometimes I even try to match my previous building style, not because it looks good but because it puts tears to my eyes. It fills me with happiness.

This video, every detail about it, even the order of the songs, is incredible. It symbolizes the personal stories of Minecraft in a way which nothing else could. Minecraft and Sweden represent your simple enjoyment of this newfound hobby. Oxygène represents the wonder you feel as you start to realize how much there is to do. The beginning of Mice on Venus is when you start to plan, thoughts of what you want to do, and it all comes together at 10:44. The second half of Mice on Venus is the epitome of fun, you find yourself enjoying the game more than you ever have before. Dry Hands represents the first tragedy in your world, you may have died, had a pet die, or lost valuable items. Wet Hands is when you move on, and get back to work. Although what happened previously was sad, you rebuild and continue forward. Once you get to Haggstrom, you've forgotten of the tragedy of Dry Hands, and everything just keeps getting better as you continue to play. Subwoofer Lullaby represents the second tragedy in your world, you explored too far away and you're lost. The song reminds you that it's sad to be away from home for too long. The first half of Danny is where you first begin losing interest in your survival world, but once you make it back to your house, you immediately get back to mining. The second half is where you idly mine for resources, you find some good ores, just enough to keep you interested in your world for a little longer. Living Mice and Clark continue the downwards trend as you keep playing the game, possibly out of habit moreso than enjoyment. Moog City is the creative mode music. You hear this repeatedly on end as your interest in survival goes away, and you start anew, making enormous redstone/command block creations. Beginning is the title screen music. You've moved on to multiplayer, and this is the only song you stop to listen to before jumping on a server to play with friends.
