FYI you can buy gimbap at Costco and many Asian stores now. I went cross border shopping and finally got my hands on the TJ soup dumplings but not a fan. It could be since I’ve eaten homemade dumplings/momos and you can’t really compare. Have fun in London!

Let me tell you secret! One traditional way to eat kimbap is coating egg and fry it 1. Microwave it to defrost. 2. Beat ssome eggs in a bowl and add a pinch of salt. 3. Dip each kimbap one by one 4. Fry them in the pan

I HIGHLY recommend trying the roll with the TJ’s chili onion crisp oil. I never have it without that condiment. The texture contrast between the soft roll and the crunchy oil (plus the saltiness of the oil vs. with the mild sweetness of the roll) takes it from mid to solid. Trust me!

I like to microwave the kimbap for half the time then I put them in a pan and sear them on each side. Makes all the difference!

Just a reminder that a very large majority of brands throw out all returns!!
