We also send our puppies home with go home bags, and Meghan, the breeder, loves packing them because they are different every time. She doesn't include Snuggle puppies in our bags yet, but I've heard great things about them.

It might also be beneficial to include a little care sheet on how to properly care for your doodle. As a groomer, I cringe at the amount of doodles I have to shave daily due to improper or complete lack of brushing. I promise I’m not being a jackass, removal of too many mats too quickly can result in seizures and hematomas. It’s just easier to throw in a card that tells them what type of brush to use and how often you should brush and trouble spots to concentrate on because sadly people don’t research breed needs before purchasing!

We actually have a puppy packet we email out between weeks 1-2 of the puppies lives for our families to go ahead and start preparing and reading! It’s over 50+ pages and a few of those pages is a complete doodle grooming guide, with tools they will need!

I have our first litter of puppies! They’re 5 days old. I’ve been watching your videos for a while to get educated. 😅 Do you take your new litter and mom to vet a few days after birth for a well check? Also I purchased everything in your Amazon store for whelping 😮❤🥰

It is really interesting to see the different rules and laws regarding breeding. In The Netherlands (where I live) you are not allowed to microchip puppies yourself and every dog needs to be microchipped before going to a new home. You have to have a specific government number which needs to be entered by the vet or the kennel club so everyone knows where the puppy is from. This was mostly created to go against backyard breeders and puppies from abroad who are shipped into our country too soon and with like fake documents.

What do you do to disinfect your yard so the puppies can play outside? I’m sure there are so many potential viruses or bacteria that could be introduced into your yard by any wild critters or by accident from anyone visiting your home.
