Years ago I was at training for work, and went to a local pub for lunch. On the TV was a replay of the 1973 Sugar Bowl when Notre Dame beat Alabama with Tom Clements at QB. Both teams were undefeated and Notre Dame finished at 11-0, winning the national championship. Clements was named MVP of the game.

I live in the Chicago area, and I love to talk trash with my friends who are Bears fans too! Listening to Chicago Bears post game radio shows after the Packers won and the Bears lost was the cherry on my football Sunday!

This is such a satisfying win for a number of reasons. My favorite reason, though, is that it quiets the people (at least for now) who were complaining about the pass rush, even when intelligent minds were pointing to the fact that the guys were playing contain in order to make dynamic quarterbacks one dimensional. These people would hear that reasoning, and then hit you with the “yeah, but “. No “yeah, but’s” this morning; our guys were ferocious, just like we knew they could be! Edit: they were doing it in this video too. It is what it is. I’ll be on an island with this.

I listened to the Locked on Titans post-game show and the dude just sounded crushed man. He talked about how this game was a perfect example of a well-run organization going up against a poorly-run organization. He literally called the Titans a clown show and it's all because of the difference in play between Malik Willis with us vs when he was with Tennessee. Another incredible last-minute signing by Gutey and an incredible job done by the Packer's coaching staff. Well done Coach LaFleur, Adam Stenavich, and of course Tom Clements.

With Willis going 2-0 as a starter, we could maybe be able to trade him for up to a 2nd round draft pick to a QB needy team like - the Titans.😂

Willis on third down is 12-of-17 passing for 190 yards, eight first downs, one touchdown and two sacks. His 127.1 passer rating ranks third and his 11.2 yards per attempt is first. He added five runs for 55 yards and three first downs. That’s a total of 11 conversions in two games. The 5.5 conversions per game is No. 1 in the league.

TBD on Narveson lol it’s still a roll of the dice after 40 yards while most of the rest of the league is draining 50 yarders regularly.

I listened to Chicago Bears post game radio shows, and I heard analysts who sounded like Andy Herman, asking when are the Bears supposed to be good? If Bear fans think Caleb Williams should be given time to develop, where will the rest of the team be when Williams is finally good? Andy Herman talks that way.

Milik took the sack when nothing was there, I was impressed with that even! And like you all said the motion and gimmick stuff wasn't there as much, 2 completely different game plans on offense!! Even the defense was in attack mode, not contain mode, because Levis is the first non-scrambling QB this year!!

Packers have been very impressive these past 2 weeks no doubt but we have go to stop with all the penalties. There are too many times when we have a big play on offense whether that’s a run or passing play and it gets negated by a holding or illegal motion penalty. GB, also has to be better on 1st down, there’s too many times where we have negative run plays or again stupid penalties that put us behind the sticks and make it 1st and 15 or 1st and 20 and makes it much more challenging for our offense to get first downs and keep moving the ball downfield. Overall very impressed by what this team has accomplished so far but those are areas where we need to get better because if we keep making those mistakes it’s going to cost us in big games.

Returning to his old stomping grounds in Nashville, Malik Willis needed to do more for the Green Bay Packers offense than a week ago when Green Bay’s ground game totally controlled the action. The Green Bay Packers ran the ball well (188 rushing yards), but Malik Willis converted several 3rd downs with clutch throws, used his own legs to move the ball early on, and did not turn the ball over for the 2nd straight game in a row. A 3rd-down conversion on the opening possession on a deep ball to Christian Watson set the stage for a pair of 3rd-and-longs to Romeo Doubs and Christian Watson (2 catches, 67 yards) later in the 1st half. Malik Willis sparkling a 120.9 passer rating included 13 completions in 19 attempts for 202 yards and a touchdown. He also used the zone read on running plays along with a couple of scrambles to lead the team with 73 rushing yards and a touchdown on 6 attempts, all in the 1st half. Go Pack Go 💚💚💛💛

I’m with you. I would definitely be surprised if the packers lose to the ViQueens. The ViQueens have had very good matchups against a trash giants week 1 then took advantage of a beat up niners team at home week 2 followed by a young Houston Texans team at home again. Their defense might be good but I think a healthy Jordan Love and a strong run game will dominate at home this Sunday. 31-17 packers over ViQueens.
@mrsmartypants_1
@mrsmartypants_1 Күн бұрын
Agreed. If we beat the Vikings this Sunday getting into the Super Bowl has just been made significantly less difficult. HOWEVER. The Viking have been absolutely balling. Their defense is the best in the league imho. Love was not worth his salary against the Birds. He was rusty and intimidated. He’ll be even more rusty this Sunday. I predict the Viking beat the Pack. Maybe handily. But when they meet again later in the season the Packers win and make it into the divisional playoff round. Hope I’m wrong about this Sunday.

@@richtozzo615 I think it’s going to take a couple weeks for Love to really get rolling. I think GB is the #1 bet to win the SB this year. That assumes Love starts playing similar to his best that he showed us late last season. It’s football. One crazy game and you’re out in the playoffs. I’m hopeful though.
