For anyone who doesn't know, the handle on the hand truck is sized appropriately to the wheel radius, so that when you lay the handtruck down on its back, you get a level loading platform, and you can lift the load from that orientation instead of trying to lift it as Dave does here, and avoid things falling off.

this has happened to me too. a little tip - keep a ratchet strap with your hand truck, so you can wrap it around whatever you need to move to keep it on the truck

I keep a length of pink rope, left over from a previous project where I used it as a car parking aide, so I could park right up against a wall and just not hit it, always tied to the trolley. That way it is trivial to either use it in the existing tied up position to strap around, or tie it off lower and use for holding multiple flat packages like there, and have them stable for the trip. That drink trolley, normally rated to carry 200kg (crates of drinks can be heavy, especially when you load like the delivery trucks do here, stacking up to 15 cartons of 12 2l bottles for a single trip), and it has even been (ab)used to move vehicles around as well.
