Also consider making your own sealing wax. A stick from your glue gun melted with a crayon will work. Add glitter, if you wish. There are also glue sticks available in many colors and even glitter. Make it yours.

Yes, these little bits and bobs are great addition to orders, to make them more special and attractive :) And no silly at all! It's a very good question. The boxes are sturdy enough that they are absolutely ok. They are very thin - they fit large letter size after all - and therefore they are harder to crush because of the way they're built. The walls aren't tall. I also ship my jewellery in additional jewellery box as you know, so this also helps. Overall, the order is snuggly packed, so I never had any issues with it :)

You can use a hot glue gun and colored wax sticks to make the wax labeling MUCH easier! And the wax sticks come in all kinds of color some even with metallic in them.

Is the label maker worth the money considering you still need to hand type all the addresses in one by one (at least that's how it seemed to work)? Does it save enough time to make it worth it? Isn't it faster/easier to just copy-paste on your computer, print it with a normal printer and slap it on with a clear tape?

When I print the return address, I use the saved template, so no typing. But when I print address of a customer, I just copy and paste it, so still not much extra typing, it's quite alright 😀 I used to print from a computer, cut and stick it on the package with the clear tape, it's a great solution! But my printer broke, and there's no printing point in my area, so I was stuck. This little printer came handy, as an alternative :)

Is the shipping cost more for the boxes than a bubble mailer? I’m starting a jewelry company soon and am trying to figure out a cute but cost effective way to ship my items.

It depends where you are - if you are based in the UK, then a large letter size is a very good option for the shipping. You can get it tracked and signed for a very reasonable price. That's why I'm using the boxes - they are sturdy, safe and always fit that size. With bubble envelopes I wasn't sure they wouldn't get crushed in the shipping and sometimes the bubbles would add extra height, so the package would no longer fit the large letter size. So I prefer to pay just a bit more and get the boxes :) Safer, easier, less stress and looks professional! Worth the money :) I get mine on Amazon: amzn.to/3dvlPCJ Hope that helps! 😍 Good luck!
