LEGO Harry Potter Years 1-4 - Hogwarts Overworld 100% Guide #1 - All 4 House Dormitories

This video shows how to collect all of the character tokens, gold bricks, red bricks and how to save all of the students in peril in the Slytherin, Gryffindor, Hufflepuff and Ravenclaw dormitories for LEGO Harry Potter Years 1-4. The game has a decent sized overworld and I'm going to try and show how to collect 100% of the items that are hidden throughout the overworld.

She's unlocked in the level in year 2 called 'The Basilisk'. You need to use reducto on a chest near the start of the level. Sorry for the late response.

What I find weird is that you can find Ron, Harry and Hermione with their hogwarts styles but they are the default characters in the game.

no they aren’t, hogwarts style is before they are sorted into gryffindor

It's before they are sorted so they actually have the black and yellow hogwarts tag on them if you look at their chest emblem

Slytherin dorm 0:11-1:10 character token named Rita skeeter reducto the foul silver locks on the grates around the bottom pool. WL the pieces, then pull the chains in the two pools under the ramps. Ride the water spout to reach the token. make sure you have a Slytherin character so you go inside the next room. 1:28-1:43 Slytherin boy shoot the painting on the wall then shoot the package that appears. 1:49-2:14 there are five lamps to light with WL. one is near the door to the Slytherin Antechamber one is by the windows in the right area one is on the right wall and the last is on top of a shelf in the right area. Slytherin girl 2:28 2:38 student in peril shoot the book case to free the student. He takes a few seconds to realize he’s free. 3:02 red brick called score x4 it’s just sitting there waiting for you to find it shoot the trunk at the end of a bed to reveal the brick 3:42 and the Slytherin Antechamber is 100% percent complete.

Are you trying to enter with a Slytherin character? I'm not sure what went wrong if you're trying that.

How come Harry has to use the Patronus Charm against his Dementor Boggart? I say this because it's not an actual Dementor. The way to beat a Boggart is using the Riddikulus spell.

I guess boggarts share the weakness of whatever it’s imitating…? The same thing happened in the movie and I think also the book used a boggart when Harry learned the patronus spell

i think you have to use a patronus in the game because of lupin using a boggart to teach harry in semi realistic conditions, i do not think it can suck your soul, but the boggart does definitely gain the weakness of whatever it embodies, so the patronus charm is very effective against a boggart dementor, though i believe riddikulus would work in some way, i'm also not entirely sure harry actually took the time to learn the spell riddikulus considering his patronus would work every time. Lupins point for harry was not for the boggart to work on harry, but for harry to work on the boggart.

I think that means that you've competed all the extras in that one particular area. I would recommend going to different areas of the overworld and see if the ghost keeps clapping, or leads you instead. I hope this helps.
