Doesn't hurt that Green Bay IS football as well. There is only football there. No distractions for players, no clubs, no partying....only football. Because of that, it doesn't attract divas who seem to care more about being seen outside of the sport than anything else. You'll never see a Packer shoot himself in the leg at a club. Stuff like that matters.

GO PACK GO, Defense is coming along! The depth at receiver and running back, an O line that has played together for most of the season. Love is cutting down on the gunslinger mentality. LaFleur coaching schemes and a front office that doesn’t seem to miss on picks. But more importantly, PACKERS develop players and this team is young and getting on a good roll for January.

I "almost" worry he's reigned it in too much....choosing not to throw to a wide open Watson for a walk in TD yesterday was head scratching. I mean, we scored anyway, but he was looking right at Watson while there wasn't a defender within 10 yards of him. He needs to find a good balance

Carr is the REAL thing. A true NFL QB. He has all the tools with the current roster. All our 1st string players are injured. Carr makes them all work out. They thrive with Carr, cause he knows how to make them look good. Not to mention they have confidence in his professional leadership! Mend and heal up in the offseason. Then with Physical endurance training and muscle and ligament strengthening, they won't be prone to injuries like when they come up to the manhandling teams like the Eagles next year. Strength and endurance is the answer for the Saints. Do that and we'll go all the way!

Unfortunately, the problem with being a fan of most NFL teams is that you have to essentially be a fan of the owner and their decisions. Regional pride doesn't come into it. It's a product put out by an owner. That's why it's refreshing to have Green Bay where it really is still about a regional fan concept and it's not just about one particular owner's management or mismanagement. More NFL teams should go public like that.

Don't anoint Love as the new Favre/Rodgers. LaFluer is doing all he can to minimize Love's throws over the last 5 games because of his inaccuracy and willingness to throw into a crowd of defenders. That's why Jacobs is getting so many reps they don't trust Love. He pre-snap determines who he is going to throw to regardless of whether they are open or not. He seems to dislike going thru his progressions and throwing to the open man. He has lazy feet unwilling to align his feet with where he's throwing the ball which causes most of his inaccuracy.
@grsafran

Yeah he had the hot and cold season and ended their season with an ego throw...and got paid for it. Rodgers had at least won and proved he was the guy (super bowl and year before losing 51-45 to the facemask seen around the world cept by the refs) in overtime. Love's proven he's mid level at best and capable of throwing amazing touchdowns or bonehead interceptions equally....if not even slightly towards the interceptions.

and no you did not pick 7 of 8; gonna be wrong with NFC north NFC West do not try to say you predicted those because i want receipts you didnt....just receipt checked you you picked colts, bengals to win divisons you pickedjags to make the playoffs. You picked Washington to win, packers to win; you picked cowboys to make wild card and 49ers. so that is 4 of 8 not 7 4...

The packers are one fluke blocked field goal away from having 0 wins in their division.

They are also two missed field goals away from having a win against the Vikings in a game they lost by 2.

I like Josh Jacobs they have different moves. Football moves then each other Josh Jacobs I would like to see come back down in Joannes. We can stay with the Vikings mean that in a negative way. 💚💛💚💛

Then somebody is really doing a job at some magic place then somebody must have something to do with it with Packer players having him play good this year not winning all the games winning some games. 💚💛💚

Are we just going to ignore the fact that the packers have only beaten 3 teams over 500 in the Injury depleted Rams earlier in the year, the Seahawks without Geno for a half and the Texans. They beat the Saints and their backup which is worse than Tommy Devito, I’m getting 2020 Pittsburgh Steelers vibes.

The record against winning teams is a fair point. GB is dominating lesser teams though. 30+ points for 5 weeks straight makes you competitive with anyone. Not enough to win a championship by itself (looking at the 2011 Packers here), but enough that they have a chance against any team

@ We will see how they do against a fully healthy Rams, I do think they could maybe beat the commanders but that’s about it. There is a real chance as well that they are under .500 in their division by the end of the year as well.

They lost by 5 to Eagles where Love got hurt and a td removed for a flimsy reason, Jordan came back from injury and lost by 2 points against the Viking and the Lions beat them by 3 where another td was erased for a flimsy OPI call against Watson. The only solid loss was 24-14 Lions where Love was still hurt but keep doubting them

@ o you mean where he got hurt on the 2nd to last play of the game where the game was already decided? Just forgot about that until just now.

@ecast9061 you look at some of their losses and if they have the kicker they have now they likely have two more wins. The Packers had a missed field goal in that Eagles game which would have made it two pt game and not 5 changing the need for a Td vs a field goal which they could have gotten in range for. Vikings game they had two missed field goals and lost by 2.
