The NFL needs to handle the pay scale differently. Quarterbacks hand the ball off half the time. They do NOT need to cost double or triple all the other positions. It’s out of order. I think it needs to go based on rank or something. A set scale.

I'm a Packer fan who lives in Milwaukee and want to see Love get paid but I also agree. Love had a really good year and I truly believe he'll continue to be good, but as far as highest paid QB in the league... no sir. And I hope he doesn't gouge the Packers so that, when it comes time to pay all the young receivers and everyone else who is shining on the team, they'll have the money to do so. It's the one thing I respected about Tom Brady and why he's the GOAT. He knew he needed more than just himself to win Superbowls in a team-oriented game.

People don’t understand. Qb contracts are longer than other contracts. You have to apply the logic equally. It made sense to pay mahomes a ton early and for a long time not just because he was good, but because the length of the contract means that the cap hit AT THE END is negligible. It gives you more room to maneuver later when other guys come due to get paid.

Should have been a pick, should have been a sack, should have been a turnover, etc. can point to those plays every game. QB has the most control over what happens every play on the field. Therefore fair or unfair you are the most culpable for what happens. So all that to say yes, he did lose them the game.
