This is my current bottle and I absolutely love it. I've got it in 2 sizes and 4 lids that are interchangeable. It's perfect for every occasion. My 32oz (1L) is great for a day out keeping it cool with the folding straw , the 16 Oz (500ml) is amazing for tea with the cafe lid but I just swap to the big chug lid for the gym. It just works and does its job. The lid that is fully sealed with no opening is great for traveling as 0% leakage and then I can swap lids for a hot beverage when I get there by packing the cafe lid. I'm happy I don't have to carry 2 bottles with me anymore and have no plastic waste.

Is the twist cap no leak?

@@godgirl001 the cafe lid leaks. Twist lid doesn't leak but has previously dribbled in my bag. Not sure if this is due to some being left in the lid though. . If you want it to 100% not leak get the TK wide loop cap.

I found that when the straw gets stuck while opening it’s because the straw’s fold seal isn’t in the correct place, when I rotated the silicone straw bit I never that the problem again

The dimples are used so they can carry the double wall up higher than with a female threaded opening. This is the main area of temperature gain, lost. With the option solid cap, no drink mechanism, this design should stay hotter, colder longer. The straw cap by the necessary design, isn't ideal. You give up efficiency for convenience.

I have been eyeing this for SO long, and I bought the 20 oz bottle in the same color, but it appears huge and clunky! I am thinking of swapping it out for the 16 oz straw one. Anyone recommend the 16 oz over the 20 oz? I would be using it for water only. Also, does the straw last? I got the silicone stainless straws, and they lasted for five months before tearing. :(

Anyone experiencing chipping in the paint? I really love Klean Kanteen, but I recently got two straw bottles, and one had a chip already in the surface and another was chipping at the mouth. Both brand new and unused. Did I just get a bad batch?

hey can you drink a Smoothie in this. straw looks slightly wider than normal straws for this type of vessel.

Any one else have issues with getting the cap off after used. I’ve been trying since last night to get mine off. I’m bummed I love this bottle and would really like to refill. Driving me nuts not being able to get it off.

Sounds like a vacuum seal. Do you open the straw first? Probably an issue if using hot liquid? Old pressure cookers could get this problem. If a pressure cooker was hot, you let it cool, lid on, it vacuum sealed, just like canning jars. The only way to open was to reheat the pot slightly get the pressure up to sea level. A tricky business as you don't want a positive pressure, as the hot content will shoot out.

My cold water bottle of the same design is very difficult to open as well, especially if my husband tightens it.
